The Nintendo NES 2015 Winter Netplay Tournament which started 2 1/2 months ago is coming to an end Thursday night with the final 2 contestants, Foxyman1113 and Davideo7 (myself), facing off in a bunch of NES games. The matchup could last anywhere between 30 minutes to 2+ hours.

We'll be both on our microphones talking while we face each other so be sure to stop by, it should be exciting. Also be sure to follow my channel so that you're reminded when the event begins.

This tournament started with 64 users with a double elimination format. Selectable games include: Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, Dig Dug, Dig Dug II - Trouble in Paradise, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Donkey Kong 3, Dr. Mario, Galaga, Marble Madness, Mario Bros, Pac-Man (Tengen), Pinball, Tetris (tengen), Q-Bert and Wario's Woods.

Basically we'll be facing off in sets of 2 games until someone wins both games of a set. We both get to pick 1 game each for every set. We cannot pick the same game twice until every game has been played once. Since I'm in the winner's bracket, I have the advantage of having to lose twice in order to lose the tournament. Basically I'm in the winner's bracket and foxy is in the loser's bracket so technically if I lose the first matchup, I get knocked into the loser's bracket where we face off again.

Davideo7 :   What kind of website is twitch exactly? Because, to be honest, I have never heard of it before. Is it possible for you to explain what it is? If not, It's cool.

The Twitch site used to go under a different name back in the day. I can't remember but it was not Ustream. But you basically watch what a certain person is watching like Pay Per Views before they cracked down on those. Then they turned it into where you watch a lot of gamers play games.

Good luck to you both! I didn't do as well as I expected this year. Played inconsistent, but I'm happy for you both.

Sadly, I don't think I will be able to watch the live stream as I won't get home from work till after it's over most likely. Hopefully I can catch the end or something if you guys have an epic matchup.
