This thread was originally me buying multiple games, but now I am just buying Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Incorrectly listed on Steam as Lego Star Wars Saga). I am offering 100,000 Viz for it, and the game is $20.

Honestly you're not going to have any buyers a lot of people on here do at least 5,000 Viz per dollar so instead of 20,000 Viz for $10.00 more like 50,000 Viz... just a tip. Wish it wasn't like that though, but things change. Dx

SonicFan22 : Yeah, that's where I draw the line. I only have like 140,000 Viz and I don't want to spend all of it on a few Steam games. If I end up buying more of these with real money, I will adjust some of the prices. The highest total price I'm going for is 130,000 Viz. If I buy SWD and RCT2, I will change the remaining 2 Lego games from 40,000 to 65,000.

But seriously, isn't there like a conversion rate? Like 1,000 Viz is $1 or something? I dunno, but I think people who are offering like 120K for $20 things are either desperate or, dare I say, stupid.

RetroGameNinja : Yea there is but as Earthwalker said not a lot of people need the Viz because they've gotten what they want. And the thing with buyers is why buy something for someone at 1.00-1,000 Viz to dollar ratio when someone offers a huge amount of Viz and gets the better deal. In my opinion it's a smarter way of doing business.

But anyway at least you've got a buyer.

I am not buying people games, and I probably should have made that clear. I am offering Viz for people to buy me games. And with the inflation of the market, I probably would charge you more than 20,000 lol.

*cough* The 20 dollar for 20k Viz thing is sarcasm. Just a small tip since it seems like the sarcasm hasn't been detected. That's what he was trying to tell you, obviously no one would want to purchase something for 20 dollars JUST for 20k Viz considering the current market rates and demands. Someone would happily steal the deal from you if you just offered 20k for 20 dollars since viz-to-real money is highly in demand. Also, the most common reason why we're not using 1k Viz per dollar ratio when it comes to Vizzed Market is because we could just easily earn that through donating to the site without the need to actually sell stuff on the market. *cough*

RetroGameNinja : The 1000 Viz to $1 ratio is only the sites conversion rate for donations, and lets not forget that in addition to Viz when you donate, you also get CP, so some people think that the Viz alone is more.

Even before the value of Viz inflated from getting more Viz per action, the average ratio was about 5K Viz for every dollar, since let's face it, getting Viz is easy. I can easily get 12K Viz an hour just doing a review, and there have been some days where I made more than 100K Viz in a day from recording videos.

So if somebody can choose between paying $1 of their own money for 1-5K viz, or just posting and making maybe 1K Viz every 5-10 minutes, they should most likely choose to post instead.

Take me for example, I just did 2 trades yesterday and both of them were for at least 10K Viz per dollar, but again, I could have easily made up all the Viz I got from those trades in 2 to 3 days by doing actions and I wouldn't have had to spend my money.

RetroGameNinja : As others have mentioned, I just wanted to clarify that it's not about inflation, or desperation, or any of that. It's how the particular individual values each type of currency. In my particular case, I don't do as much for this site as I could, I just post every once in a while and click the tab on the top of my browser to get my daily Viz. Yet I've been a member of this site for so long that with those actions alone I have the gaming machine for normal games, the PSX, the Beta ticket, I give Viz to others occasionally, and I still currently have a decent amount of Viz. My personal financial situation isn't exactly lucrative so if I could part with the majority of my virtual currency for say a $20, that'd sound like a good deal to me. And as Zanderlex said I'd have plenty of time to get back the necessary Viz to buy a CD system if I wanted to. All in all, depending on your current needs for the Viz or just your perspective of its value, those kinds of high end trades are worth it since you're getting that real item for 'free.'
