I can honestly say, I'm not really all that shocked, granted I expected that people would make fan fictions, cosplay, and other stuff, but I didn't think they would go this far with it. The reason I'm not that shocked about it is because people are always talking about FNAF, it was only a matter of time before something extreme like this would happen. I've seen playthroughs of this game, and I've even played it myself a bit and I don't really see how people find it scary (granted it is mostly jump scares, but still). At first I really didn't expect a game like this to get this much attention and praise, but if it's what people like, then there's no stopping it. 

Some of you users out there may know that I am a huge Five Nights at Freddy's fanatic. So, this really surprised me when I first saw it. Technology really is amazing. I just never thought someone would actually do THIS. Anyhow, I love it! Do you know if he's going to make the other characters?

Agreed, and as you said already....it's what people wanted....like slenderman or amnesia but like these games sooner or later (about years actually) the audience will find something scarier, etc, and they will begin a new fandom while forgetting about FNAF.

And I too played the game myself, and you kinda create this fear illusion because you want to survive(win) while having two animatronics corning you and having less than 30% at 3 AM. But with time, you'll get used to the jumpscares.

Fun Fact: 90% of the fans don't own the game XD(or so I've heard)

First, answering your question, yes...he's going to make the other character from FNAF 1(except goldie) but they'll be stationary(you expected 50K $ to be enough?).

Second, technology like this existed way before(check wikipedie, you'll be really suprised), but the hardest part for them would be, if they managed to somehow open a restaurant, to create an AI that allows them to move, interacts with people according to their ages, and a dozen of things I'm too lazy to mention.

Wow that was interesting I'm pretty sure even the big man Scott Cawthon would be surprised at this though I would love to see it finished also

That guy in the phone is right, who ever made fnaf band made a very bad career choice. Just think of all the death threats hes going to receive and all the humiliating once the hype is over. The technology could have been used to build things like a home security system, a car, or better computer.

Oh. Great.  So, what now, another set of animatronic creatures to compete with the Chuck E. Cheese gang for 'most disturbing childhood moments ever'? -__-

Don't get me wrong, I like FNAF alright, but as amazing as this is, all I can think of is the Chuck E. Cheese lot.
