GUYS MY BUS IS COMING IN LESS THAN TWENTY MINUTES AND IT'S NOT A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY IT'S EXAM DAY AND I HAVE MY MATH AND SCIENCE EXAMS 

PANICKING

OKAY I'LL GET A GRIP ON MYSELF FOR JUST A LITTLE WHILE SO THIS DOESN'T END UP BEING SPAM

My first two second term exams are here. I have my math one first and then my science one. I studied, but I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD HAVE STUDIED MORE. Ugh, I'm not even wearing my  "Good luck" socks ;w;.

Anyway, do you guys remember ever  being so panicked over an exam that it caused you to do something a little differently (besides breathing)? I got dressed waaay slower today than usual and I find myself procrastinating waaay more (look at this thread) and I get that feeling I'll forget everything I've studied for WHEN I SIT DOWWWN .

When are your exams coming up? Or if they already did, when did they?

Maybe some of my friends got their books and I can study with them ! I hope my math one isn't first.

My exams are coming up at the end of our school year, which is in May, and I don't really panic about it all that much. I make good grades on them all the time, so I have no reason to panic. Just take some chill pills, okay? xD

I honestly don't remember feeling panic or other horrors when I go to take exams, largely because it had been a while since I last took one. I will be taking my literature and biology exams in May, and after that, I have finals to take in all of my classes =3= Thankfully, I don't have to deal with the math exam since I already took it and passed in grade 8.

So how'd it go then? I mean you'll see this post at some point after it's over assuming it isn't already. Anyway...

I have exams coming up that will be exactly the same in 20 states of my country. It's the first year they've ever been released, so we get to take the hardest versions of the test possible. (They have no idea how hard to make it, and they don't want to make it easy) The more I learn about these exams, the more pain inside I have.

If I had to give any advice to a newcomer to exams, the first and probably most important thing is to NOT panic! I know its your first time, and I know you're probably nervous, but that is normal. In my case, I never felt comfortable if I felt comfortable right before a big test or a midterm ( if that makes any sense ). What I mean is, no matter how much I studied the days or even weeks before the test, I always was nervous when I sat down in the classroom, but that was a NORMAL feeling to me. If I got too comfortable, I always missed a bunch of the easiest questions and it always p-ed me off big time.

Long story short, just prepare for this or any future exams you have just like it was a normal test. I promise you that you'll be fine if you don't try to do too much.

MattyIce : Thanks so much ! Also, they're just my first exams of this term, not my first exams ever, ha, ha XD! My first exams ever were in sixth grade; I'm in eighth grade now ! Nonetheless, thank you very much for your reply! It was highly appreciated !
