From what I know, you only get the Viz if you visit on your birthday. Also, if your birthday is under I think 2 weeks after the date you register, you don't get the birthday Viz that year. Here's an example: 

User: *registers on May 18. Birthday is on June 2*
User: *visits Vizzed on birthday*
User: *doesn't get Viz because their birthday was soon after they signed up.
