I do not know about anyone else, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the How to train your dragon series. The second movie was even better than the first. And I also enjoyed the cartoon series. Dragons: Riders of Berk, also Defenders of Berk. I have also played the second game, but have not gotten a hold of the first one for the wii. So what is your favorite thing about this series? Do you actually enjoy it?

For me personally, there were two things that I enjoyed about the How to train your dragon 2 Movie. The first is that song from Jonsi Where no one goes. That song is a perfect fit for the movie! Also, the fight between the evil alpha and toothless was amazing!!! Basically, I just love Toothless in general. I can't say that I see a dragon in the series with as much personality as he does. Though Meatlug might come a close second! Anyways, the flying scenes are just amazing, and the humor and action all mixed in there. It's the bomb!

I enjoyed the How To Train a Dragon series, and well I am on my 17s so I think that it is not a matter of age as long as you enjoy movies with a message. Even though this movie was made for people younger than what I currently am I managed to get the values that the movie is supposed to teach, I like the concept of riding dragons, I think it's pretty sweet concept. I also like the visuals that DreamkWorks brings to the movie, I always look forward to the environment that the designers and screen players bring to the movie, the ice cave paradise in the 2nd movie was just beautiful to watch. I also enjoyed the message of doing things the way that you believe is right no matter what others say, I think the movies can teach one to believe on your own values and to show that the good values of one can attach to others. I also like the great variety of genres in the movie, from action, fantasy, comedy there is also a lingering part of romance in the series as well. I like the way that they played around with the story and I felt the sequel was something that was not disappointing at all. I wonder if they will make a third movie, if it is as good as its former two companions I will definitely go watch it. I haven't seen the series because I don't feel they would deliver a message as strong as the movie though.

I loved the first one. At least compared what you get these days, the average Disney song and dance garbage versus the panty sniffing little girl anime it was all good. But still, I maybe never get used to cgi. But it was good. Really. I have the second one there waiting for me to watch it and I know I will love it but I would be lying if I would say anything about it yet.

I throughly enjoyed the first movie in the series, CGI just got good, and the massive landscapes and scenes were utterly amazing. The hair textures were great, the water, dragon scales, it almost looked sub-real.

The plot was cliched in some fashons, but it was hidden well enough on my first watching of the movie that I have to give credit where it is due. The Characters were good, and acted /fairly/ realistically.

It was definitely worth the time spent watching the film, it was the last good movie I've seen before Frozen.

the second film however...

I loved the animation, I loved the areas, and the CGI was even better than the first.

But the story just felt like a bad fanfic really. Hiccup's mom came out of nowhere, and the the dragons let along the giant one. The ultimate form of toothless. *disgusted sigh*

Oh yeah and the big push for "peace" that came out of nowhere, it was a lot more hidden in the first film, and made sense, but their's a time for war and a time for piece. and hiccup's actions cost him his father.
