Oh great, so the fact that I have a custom color will almost be not unique now. I think I've earned mine, however. I'd like to see what color someone comes up with.

Cyro Xero : Not really, You got your custom colour a long time ago.. I think with the progress of how many people are registered to the site.. It's pretty much the same, if not more unique than it used to be... 

I've got two colours in mind... One is far more outlandish than the other... 

Cyro Xero : He's right, back when you first got it, I bet that the ratio between people with colored usernames to users was much lower.

I think the only person can beat Muffin for 3 million Viz is David because him having infinity amount of Viz. But you know, David won't bid in his own auction, it will seem weird Davideo7 giving Davideo7 6 million Viz.

But I don't need a single username color, I might ask David for a custom IB/IB122 style banner in the future when the time is right.

zanderlex : I suppose that's true. Back then I'm not sure how difficult or easy it was to get a custom color. I think I got mine because of my donations and when asked by David what I wanted in return I went with the color. But now days you have the jersey competitions to change you color, even if it's only temporary.

sonikku does in fact own all the Viz I donated to him. I gave it unconditionally. That means he gets to keep it regardless of how he does in this auction. I didn't lend him anything.

When you are moved to give to a friend, you don't place conditions on it. One day when you understand that, you will have more real friends.

Cyro Xero : In order to get a custom username color, you have to break the top 5 donations list. This gets harder and harder every year as the top 5 donation amounts get higher and higher. This is the only time I've given out a custom username color for Viz and it might be the last time. The only other times I've given a custom username color not based on donation amount was for geeogree and tRIUNE and that was because they're admins.

Currently there are only 10 users with custom username colors (not counting the Murderer account) and only half of those users are currently active so it's still a pretty unique thing. I've never intended to give these things out like hotcakes and I've even considered not giving them out anymore for donations but I felt like if someone donates a lot to the site, they deserve something extra special, something that gives me a way to say thanks.
