This is my first go on fan fiction, so any help and feed back is appreciated.
Sonic’s world
“Sigh” said Sonic, sounding a little bored. “There’s nothing to do anymore, with Dr. Eggman gone.”
“Is Dr. Eggman the only thing that keeps you busy, Sonic?” asked Tails.
“Pretty much. What, do you have something interesting to show me?” answered Sonic.
“Yes, I do.” said Tails.
“What is it?” Sonic asked.
“Well, it’s called the internet machine. It allows us to go into the internet.” answered Tails
.
“Whoopdedo. I have a Kindle that can do just that.” remarked Sonic.
“Not access the internet, be INSIDE the internet, dummy!” exclaimed Tails
Tails yanked Sonic into the machine. Unknown to them, going into the internet affected two other universes as well.
Mega man X’s world
“Welp,” said Zero. “All the mavericks are gone, and Sigma has disappeared for a few weeks or more. We should get back to the base.”
“Zero!” yelled Axl suddenly.
“What is it?” said Zero.
“X suddenly disappeared in this hole!” explained Axl while yelling.
Zero saw the hole.
“Where did THIS come from?” asked Zero
“I don’t know!” answered Axl.
“It’s pulling us in as well! DASH!” ordered Zero.
Unfortunately, Zero and Axl got pulled into the hole, despite all of their dashing. The hole lead them to the internet…
Mario’s world
“I want some a spaghetti after saving the princess!” said Mario.
“Me too!” agreed Luigi
“Ahhhhhhh!” yelled Princess Peach.
“Oh no! I think the princess a got kidnapped again!” said Mario.
Mario sees a hole.
“What the… mamma mia!” yelled Mario.
Mario got sucked into the hole.
“Mario!” Luigi went in after Mario.
Mario, Luigi, Peach, and 24 Toads got sucked into the hole. That hole lead to the internet…
Three worlds. One internet. What will happen now?
Google
“Whoa. This is the internet?” asked Sonic.
“Yep. We are on the common homepage, Google.” answered Tails.
Suddenly, lots of bodies landed on Sonic and Tails.
“Owch!”
“Hey! Watch where you’re stepping!”
“Waaaaaaaagggggggg!”
“My head hurts!”
After a hour of resting and processing where they were, people started asking questions.
“How… am I in the internet?”
“How is this possible?”
“I’ve heard of the oculus rift, but this is even more realistic than that. I’m literally in Google!”
Sonic and Tails were quietly conversing about the unexpected side effect.
“Sonic, I don’t know how this happened, but this makes things even more complicated. I never knew going into the internet caused two other universes to go into the internet.” said Tails.
“Well, we’ll have to make due, then. Where do you want to go, Tails?” said Sonic.
“Hm, I wonder if CNN has anything that can help us. Only problem is, we don’t have a keyboard to type in “CNN” in the search box.” said Tails.
“Um, look below you, Tails.” said Sonic.
Tails looked below himself. He saw a keyboard.
“Good point, Sonic, but how are we supposed to go down there? I can’t fly down there, and I don’t have to Tornado with me. Besides, who knows how heavy the letters are?”
“Hm, maybe X can help.” said an unknown voice.
“Who are you?” asked Sonic.
“I am Zero the maverick hunter.” answered Zero.
“Okay, how can “X” help?” asked Sonic.
“By using one of the weapons I got from the mavericks.” answered Mega Man X.
“How do you… nevermind. Do what you can to bring up the letters “C”, “N”, and another “N”.” said Tails.
“I know. It’s not like I was listening into your conversation.” said X.
“I can also turn into a reploid that can fly!” said another unknown voice.
“Who are you?” asked Sonic.
“He’s Axl. Another maverick hunter.” answered X.
“Okay, and who are those mushrooms and princess and plumbers over there?” asked Tails.
“How do you not know who they are? They are the freakin… nevermind.” said Zero.
“I am a Mario. This is Luigi, my brother, and this is Princess Peach.” said Mario.
“These are Toads.” said Luigi.
“Okay, can you guys help?” said Sonic.
Mario pulled out a tanooki suit from his pocket. He used the suit to turn into Tanooki Mario.
“Yes, I a can help.” said Mario.
“Good. X, grab the “C”. Axl, grab the “N”. Mario, grab the other “N”.” ordered Tails.
X uses a grabby thingy he got from a maverick to grab the C. Axl transformed into a flying robot and grabbed the N. Mario was looking for the other N.
“I can’t a see another capital n!” said Mario.
“A lowercase n should still do fine, Mario.” said Tails.
Mario grabbed the n. But, he didn't have enough speed to fly all the way up.
“Help!” yelled Mario.
“Oh brother…” said X.
“Does a anyone have a rope?” asked Mario.
Silence
“Can’t you grab Mario, X?” said Tails.
“I used up all my weapon energy, sorry.” said X.
“Just one use for the weapon energy?” said Tails.
“No. I wasted like 34 shots on that N. It was the 35th and last one that succeeded.” said X.
“How about you, Axl?” asked Sonic.
“I don’t have the copy chip anymore. I dropped it down there.” answered Axl.
Sonic looks at the bottomless pit.
“Well… Tails? Are you sure you can’t fly down there?” said Sonic.
“I could try… but… oh well. I’ll get Mario.” said Tails.
Tails flew down to Mario. With the power of the tanooki suit, Tails was able to fly Mario back up to the letters, “Google.”
“Let’s a see… how do we press the “Search” button?” asked Luigi.
“I’ll shoot it with a charge shot.” said X.
X charged his buster, then shot the “Search” button. Google searched “CNn”, and the first link was… “CNN.com: Breaking News, US, World, Weather …”.
“Is THIS the link you wanted, Tails?” said X.
“Yes. Let’s go inside the link.” said Tails.
