Yep, all you need is the game. We haven't put any plugins on there, so all you need is normal minecraft.

You do need to make sure your client (from minecraft.net) is up to date (latest game version 1.8.1).

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
