legacyme3 : I read an article about him in batting practice on Tuesday hitting like 5-10 straight home runs. Even if he wouldn't play at all this year, he's a great investment for a couple of years, especially over Jeter and behind Reyes and maybe Peralta.

I plan on turning this team around.

In any case, there's a reason pitchers hitting doesn't count. It would give an unfair advantage to AL pitchers, since NL pitchers tend to strike out a LOT, and would often lose 3 points based on just strikeouts alone.
