I got fooled by a friendly face
But my anger is towards myself
For being so trusting
So naive...

I believe in the goodness
Of human nature
But this time the bad
Side of nature appeared
And took a swing at me

What are your motives for me?
So foggy they are that I can't see
I guess I was right in taking a hike
Your head...I can see on a pike

I don't take kindly to this
I'm angry...yes
But at myself
For being so blind
And so trusting

You saw that
And took advantage
Stupid...

To break me down

To make a fool out of me
I'll be fine, though.

I'm stronger than you think I am
I have learned that appearances
Often deceive the innocent
No more...I'm done

Good riddance

luv2game! : I'm guessing by your poems that something went down wrong somewhere. Trust me, if there's anyone that knows about betrayal, it's me and my mom. We've been through a lot together since the day my father left about 7 years ago with 3 kids that make my home feel more like a psychiatric ward than a home. Anyways, I'll be praying for you!
