Are you worthy of me?
My time is not to be wasted.
I lost a few precious moments
Because of someone unworthy.

Compliments are nice
But they are simply words.
Words that hold no meaning
Simply empty words.

I'll be polite and say 'thank you.'
Really, that's all I can do.
However, I won't believe it
Not now...not ever

Unless I know you mean it.
Prove to me...that you are fit.
Prove to me that you are the one
Worthy of my time.

I got fooled because of my nature
My nature of trusting people
Look where that got me.
So now I have to see...

If you can be trusted.
You lie, take a hike.
Unless you want your head
On top of a pike.

I refuse to get burnt again
Will I learn? Maybe, maybe not.
I want to trust you
But for now...I need to know this.
