I've been trying to run Pokemon Crystal on VizzedAEPgb and Javaboy on my Mac, and I have been having issues with both. The buttons will only register if I spam them for 20-30 seconds and the displayed text is missing tons of letters. I am using Firefox, not IE (which I saw was having problems with the buttons not working) and have the latest update of Java. I was able to reach the name input screen after about 5 minutes and noticed the cursor is continuously moving up if that information is of any help. I have tried yellow and gold as well, and the buttons don't work at all for them (that or I don't have patience to spam the Z button for long enough). Sorry if this is a simple issue that has been addressed before; I am not the most tech-savvy person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Was really looking forward to playing some Pokemon.

kwake001 : What has worked for me in the past has been adjusting the setting on Java to Medium safety. To do this you go to your start menu and locate your Java console. Then once it is open, click security and take the bar down from High Security to medium(which is as low as you can go). It may be risky but you can play Pokémon with those emulators that way.

The less risky way which I think at least improved playability for me was downloading the Vizzed RGR Plugin and using the emulator on the far right. Imagine not having to dally with the save/load function because the game saves the moment it rings in a Pokémon game. It also gives you a bigger game screen to play on. The RGR plugin does all that and the your game files are saved to your hard drive, not Vizzed.com itself. If you only play on you own computer, storing your save files locally is really cool. With those other emulators, you require a constant internet connection to log a save. With the RGR plugin, you could still lose your connection and log a save and turn it off before reconnecting.

Hands down the RGR plugin is the best way to play any Pokémon game on Vizzed. For full details on how to get it, click the thread below.

imamonster :   Bleh! I forgot that I never used a Mac to access Vizzed. That was silly of me to just assume that it would work for all computer systems. Thank you very much for the correction.   I had no idea that Macs are crap. I figured since they are so expensive that they should work with everything.

Postman3 : Yeah, I don't really like macs, The first thing I download on a new PC is the RGR plugin, I did it with my family's laptop, and my own laptop Which both use Windows.
