Hi guys, how is it going?. I'm sorry (as always) if there is already a thread like this one but since I did a thread asking about SAO then I figured: Why not? Let's ask about Attack on Titan! (btw you can find it easily on this section  the thread title is: Is Sword Art Online a good anime to watch? I've got my answer but the thread is still open soooo...if you want to, you can go and reply to my thread ) Now, go ahead and tell me everything about AoT from your point of view. You may write spoilers (I still haven't watched AoT ) and discuss the good things and the bad things about it. Make sure you check my next thread! (it was a pleasant surprise I must say, hehe! )

Yes,very much so.But try not to let the hype get to you,its no masterpiece its just a very good show.I give it an 9.1/10 

You may be disappointed by the ending though,it basically forces you to go out and read the original source materiel if you want anything else.

"Is it better than SAO?"

Yes,i would say so.I still like the first 3 episodes of SAO more than Attack On Titan though.

"Is it overrated?"

You can argue on that one.On one hand,its a very good show,and one of the best things to come out in recent years.But on the other hand,some people praise it as some masterpiece.Very similar thing happened when Death Note came out.

If i could point out a major flaw that happens later on,its that the plot will often repeat it self later in the manga.Something i like to call "The Bleach Effect." But i would recommend anyone watch Titan,just to keep up with the anime community.There are a bit more things i can talk about,but i don't think i want to spoil stuff for ya.Go ahead and watch it!

I personally feel that AoT was a pretty decent series. It could have been better but it wasn't bad. Think something like Death Note in quality. Maybe a little better or worse in some areas. Anyway, is it better than Sword Art Online? I think it is at least. But then again I'm not particularly fond of that series either. It's an awfully fun if not a bit gruesome show.

Oh dear, Where I'm from a lot of people don't really like AoT or SAO and find them overrated, though a lot of those people are anime elitists and neo geo fanboys who are mad that the snk tag on tumblr is full of aot rather than neo geo stuff.

I haven't watched the show, but from what I hear it's not the most amazing thing ever, but it's a fun action show. Don't go in expecting a thought-provoking masterpiece, This is just fun popcorn material. If you just want a cool, fun, intense show, then go watch Titan. 

Is it better than  Sword Art Online? Probably. I've seen a lot of haters for both, but I never really see any actual criticism against the AoT than I have with SAO. A big problem people had with SAO was that the second part of the first season removes the tension the first part had since they are no longer in an mmo that will kill them and that the show focuses more on romantic sub-plots at this point rather than actual plot (and a character who was once really strong gets kidnapped and weak). I don't really hear any actual complaints about AoT other than "BLAGH IT's OVERRATED" I guess a lot of hate comes from people expecting the best thing ever but are disappointed that it's just ok and fan boys who annoy people and bug them to watch it. Chances are if there's any problems with AoT, it's probably minor stuff rather than glaring problems SAO seems to have.
Is it Overrated? Maybe. Every time there is a new anime that gets popular and mainstream there will always be elitists who will bash on it for being ranted and worshipped by fans, they'll event try to analyze the work deep to find minor things to nitpick and blow out of proportion to make it look worse. Maybe it's overrated. Maybe. Watch the show and judge for yourself. Just expect it to be fun. Not amazing or godlike, but fun. Who knows, you might really like it anyway. I say you're more likely to enjoy AoT than you are to enjoy SAO.

I made a review of this when I watched it a while back. I'd say Attack on Titan is a pretty solid shounen when it comes to anime in that genre. I rarely like to spend time too much with shounen shows, but Attack on Titan kept me with it through the whole season.

At times the show is really slow paced and doesn't really do anything, but it's well balanced with the amount of action that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It does get a bit predictable towards the end, or that's how I felt.

I don't want to give too much away of the show, but it's a really dramatic shounen anime and if you're into that genre then I really recommend it. It's not too long, so it's not that huge of a step to watch the show and it's well worth it.
