Local Mods : Guess I need to ask if this out allowed or not, anyway, continuing.

I have recently realized my new phone could get emulators and ROMs, so I got a few games including Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, so of course I decided to do a no reset run of the game on hard, figured I may as well keep track of who dies, where they die and of course, how.

List of deaths:
Vanessa, Bandit, chapter 2.(You left your sister behind, however knowing how terrible I am with Pegasus knights, you'll see her soon.)

Gilliam, Bandit, chapter 2.(Poor Moulder, you lost both of your best friends, and not to mention poor Franz.)

Colm, Revenant: Chapter 4. (I'm sorry Neimi.)

Garcia, Joshua, Chapter 5. (Damn.. Garcia had just taken down two bandits after being hit like four times, didn't realize Joshua had that much range on him, I even checked, I don't even under stand that. However, it was a decent enough sacrifice, for if things go my way I am getting Joshua now. At least he died a heroic warriors death, sacrificing himself for a village.)

Franz, Bandit, Chapter 5. (No... Forde will be devastated.. I'm devastated... Franz was my second favorite unit.)


Erika, Archer, chapter six. (Well, that's a wipe. Good game!)

Chapter 4 and you already have 3 deaths? Wow... :v I guess deaths are relatively foreign to me, lol. IF I have to reset, it's like once a playthrough.

Anywho, I'm interested to see how this turns out for ya. I'll probably be starting my own playthrough (and livestreaming it) sometime either today or later this week.

mrfe : Make that four deaths and five chapters in, what a shame really.

Garcia to Joshua is the only death on that list I can understand. I've used Garcia as the meat shield to lure him in for Natasha on a few occasions, and (if you don't unequip the axe and don't use Garcia enough before that) it's generally fatal. I normally will either use him enough to up his speed (and trade his axe away), or I'll simply use someone else. That chapter can be hard, if you don't know what you're doing. My most common fatality on that chapter is Ross, unfortunately.

mrfe : Well, add Franz to the list now, war is terrible.. As for Garcia, he wasn't my Joshua meat shield, always Seth (Maybe I'll get lucky and he dies too, please double crit Joshua.) But I put away Ross for the battle, weakest link and all. Honestly he couldn't hold his own here, but wait until he hears the news. Poor Seth though, lost his pupil who was trying to be all heroic and save the top village with Neimi as back up, she's in a tight spot at the moment too, but back up is on it's way at least.

I thought you sucked at FE when you lost 6 units by chapter 6, because Sacred stones could be considered the easiest FE game (but Awakening's Normal mode takes that spot). But then I saw you were playing on hard, so I can forgive that.

Also, did you know? Joshua won't attack Natasha. You can put her in Josh's field of action and he won't move (er, If you didn't know... It just sounded like you didn't...)

fusionaceblu : Yeah, but every time I tried she ended up being killed off by the two near him, this was me kinda getting back into the game, no casualties yet this play through either, I mean I made sloppy moves earlier on and didn't even bother, I lost half my tactical advantages there.

Then it was all down hill. That aside I'm ready to try and ace it, stay tuned if you're interested, I'm bound to screw up, first play through to the end and all.

tbh, losing 6 units by chapter 6 is pretty ridiculous. I play hard mode, and rarely lose anyone.

mrfe : Not if you're sloppy and lose all your pawns early on.

Frodlex : I consider myself successful, as I recently completed the game only losing Garcia and Joshua. Hooray for me.

I don't know if I could ever continue the game knowing a character has died. I would spend hours playing chapters multiple times just to ensure that every precious unit makes it out alive. It almost killed me the first time I played Shadow Dragon and I was forced by game mechanics to sacrifice someone in the prologue.
