So after 5 months of no school or work, I have finally been able to get a small temporary job to hang on to. Its a very small job though that will be on the weekends and only in February until school starts but at least its something. I got a small job at the 7-11 that I applied to on my birthday so I will be doing a few things there and based in how much I go to 7-11 (more than 14 times a week) this is actually something that I should really like.

I can say, it's really nice that you got yourself a job, but at the same time with my personal experience with having a job in real life, having a job can also take some time out of your free time and sometime, that can be tough on you, but if you can manage to do your things, I think you have nothing much to worry about. But other than that, it is a good thing you got yourself a job and make a few dollars here and there. I hope you can really make it with your new job, it might be worth it.

I think you will indeed like it a lot since you're already at 7-11 so much. It's a great idea to try hard to find a job that you like a lot, and you've done it (even though it's a temporary job). If you can't find any long-term job that you really like in the future, focus on finding a job that you are great at instead, even if you don't like it much. However, if you feel like you can barely tolerate the job anymore, then you should probably seek another one.

I like 7-11 a lot more now because I can use my belly card now. Usually you can use it once every hour at each store for 5 points. Since I would actually be there's during the day I can scan every day and probably use the points to get one free large coffee each day.

Congrats on the job Zanderlex. Done the same kind of job before myself. Used to work at a BP, Citgo, and a couple of mom and pop stores/gas stations. It's a fun job most the time cuz you get to meet and talk to all kinds of people. Plus when the regulars get used to you things can get fun. Used to have more than a few regulars that would always happily chat with me because I had learned their habits of buying in the store, so I would always have them rung up on the register before they would put the stuff on the counter. Worst part about the jobs was always the paperwork but you get down how to do it pretty quick. If you're a real social person then it's a great job.
