Not a lot of users have a Windows Phone 7 or 8 and that's why I'd like to find out who all has one by creating a thread dedicated to these rare devices. I thought it'd be fun to discuss what each of our favorite games are, what games we own and how many, what Windows Phones we have and also share our Xbox Live gamertags. Feel free to summon anyone to this thread that you know has a Windows Phone.



The other day I counted my Windows Phone game collection and I was shocked to find out that I had over 120 Windows Phone games. I've gone through 3 windows phones over the past 4+ years and I almost always buy the Red Stripe Deal when the game is discounted to $1 or $2 and I always get the free games. There have been a few times when I paid full price for a game but my total investment over the 4+ years for 120+ games is probably less than $200. If I would've paid full price for all of those games I bet my total investment would be near $500 since the Red Stripe deals can be as high as 50-75% off.

My current windows phone is the Nokia Lumia 1520. I got a great deal on it on ebay but I think it's because the phone was either refurbished or used in some way (or maybe a returned item) since the packaging was awkward and the phone didn't look mint but either way it runs like it's new.

-Fable Coin Golf (WP7 only though)

-Risk
-Angry Birds

I usually stick with the Xbox Live games since they are usually the high quality games and have xbox achievements. If anyone wants to add me, my Xbox gamertag is Davideo7. I'm willing to play any games online with you that I already have or that are cheap. I also suggest everyone get Alphajax, it's a free turn based multiplayer game (similar to Scrabble) where you take turns making your move and you have up to a day to make your move so you don't have to be at your phone when your opponent is.

Of those games, the only one that I have played was Angry Birds, but in total I have played more than 100, but I don't know how many are Live. My favorites are Jetpack Joyride, Temple Run 2, and The Sims Freeplay. I sure do wish I could afford Gold.

zanderlex : I'm shocked that you need a Gold membership to send messages, that really surprises me. You could always get a 48 hour gold trial for real cheap, some games come with them so I'm sure someone on the site would be willing to give you one for free or for a little bit of Viz.

Oh neat, but I mean the only one I have tried on that list is halo Spartan assault, and they was just the free version, however the controls were kinda annoying. If I play a game it's usually a dorky MMO based on final fantasy or a GBA game I emulated because I have a computer that can't run Vizzed very well and legitimately cannot even download the RGR plugin.

Frodlex : There are lots of free games though and some we can play together online.

zanderlex : You still have to get Alphajax which is free.

zanderlex : It's turn based and you get like an entire day to make your move. Feel free to send me an invite whenever you're ready to begin playing it.

Davideo7 : Ok, that sounds cool, how many turns does a round usually take? If it works like that couldn't one take weeks?

zanderlex : It's just like Scrabble, a round can take a lot of turn. I'm not too sure but maybe around 10-20. Yeah a matchup can take a week or more depending on how long each turn takes. What I like to do is initiate more than 1 matchup with the same person, that way you have multiple games going on and you have a few turns that you can take at a time rather than having to wait up to 24 hours just to take a single turn.

Davideo7 : I tried it out and I'm not good at this game in the slightest, I think I lost to myself by about 40 points.
