You're really smart, and you're funny, too.

That's why I just love spending time with you!

It's January 1st, the start of a new year,

And your 17th year of life, which I hope will be filled with cheer!

I've known you for a long time - since I was a Newbie, in fact!

You were kind to me when I was new, and I still appreciate that.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say

That your cheerfulness is bright enough to lighten anyone's day!

The years go by, life goes on,

We all grow older, but we still have fun

Because making friendships and keeping them strong

Is why we've all been smiling for so very long!

We have someone special to thank for that,

Because no one does it better than Matt!

Again, Matt, I hope you have a FANTASTIC day and year, and that you make many new friends great memories
