I know everyone has their favorite video games and I have seen plenty of threads asking for those for lots of consoles. I want to go a bit different route tho. So here's my question(s) and for those that can't narrow it down to one then make some honorable mentions please  : 

What would be your favorite character arc ( growth through the story of the game ) of all time and why ? What game is it from ?

Count Bleck and Dimentio from super paper mario for the wii.

I just love how their characters turn out and how they change. I loved playing through Super Paper Mario and their characters always left a memory.

I know it's not one answer, but their character balance so well that I'll view them as one.

The only reason Super Paper Mario is my 2nd favorite Paper Mario game is because of its characters and the story. I was blown away by how in-depth Count Bleck, Tippi, and Dimentio's story arc was. I still remain blown away to this day.

The main character in particular Luke Von Fabre starts out as in my opinion the most annoying and rude video characters ever but after a certain tragic event in the game happens he gradually changes and by the end of the game he's a completely different person. No other character in any video game I've played has changed that much from the start of the game to the end.

well, pokemon games and mario could be better games.
it has adventures, bosses and champion battles and many more to complete the challenges or levels
i should say that mario is better because 1999 games productly and pokemon is better but i'm playing lots of pokemon games
it has many pokemon each region and it never ends the story catching wild, starters and legendaries
and i prefer harvest moon too. i got so many games thet i liked to play everyday
