Hello to all you people out there! I've been working on some retro nintendo consoles lately, and feel confident in my skills of repairing said retro nintendo consoles. I wanted to do this to earn a little money, but unfortunately for me, only two or three people i know that are close to me have retro nintendo consoles, so i decided to bring it to Vizzed, where most people actually HAVE retro nintendo consoles! I will do my best job to ensure your system functions properly, and also ensure that it is safely mailed back to you. I accept cash or check, and will be negotiable with the price. I do NOT i repeat NOT do soldering, and if i find out that your system requires soldering to repair, i'll send it right back to you, with no charge! (By the by, when i say retro consoles, i mean the NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, and N64. I also repair controllers and Game Cartridges. We will discuss shipping addresses and contact numbers after we establish what i'm going to be repairing.)

No offense at all, and I don't doubt your skills, but I think people would rather go to a professional for this XD. And I'm not sure many would be willing to just ship their consoles to a random person they don't know . And I also think that you have to be dealing in Viz to be in the vizzed market but I'm not sure. Anyways, carry on

I know people would rather send to a pro, but where else can I do this? no one around me has retro consoles, and the ones who do have no problems with them. Thank you for telling me this, but I would appreciate it if you could tell me a website where I actually COULD do this.

crashkid11 : I'm not sure. How about you go downtown or in the main area of your town and put up flyers? That might help. I'm not saying that you can't do this here. I'm just saying that you shouldn't expect to get a bunch of offers. I hope that didn't sound mean

I would suggest you post your services on Craigslist and/or Facebook. This way you can get the word out that you do this service. Not sure how many people are going to want to send their consoles to you with no way to get it back if something strange happens. At least if they send it to a certified repair shop, they have some sort of recourse if something bad happens.

Usually with regards to an NES, the only thing that usually goes wrong with the console is either the game roms themselves are dirty, or the 72 pin connector has gone bad/dirty etc.

I kinda assume that you won't get much traction on this site with regards to repairing their consoles. Most users either don't have retro consoles (Hence why they are here) or if they do, they are valuable collections that they will treat with care. Most of them won't want to send their consoles to someone they don't know.

Also, since you don't have any pricing for your services on here, it makes things even more confusing.
