Playing a game story in you can decide to be a Good boy or just an Evil
Just like in Infamous Games, what you going to be, The Hero or the Anti-Hero?
and why you take that decision ?

I prefer the anti-hero position. I don't know, it feels like the anti-heroic decisions are more complex. And in many instances, a heroic decision is good for a team but also bad for another, and so in a way, there might not be anything as absolute as a hero.

There's something positive and old fashioned and glorious about picking the hero who saves the princess, the village, the city, the world.  I like those games if the story telling is compelling.  Final Fantasy X is a great story where the hero works with a woman who must sacrifice herself for the greater good and the unveiling of that tale is expertly crafted.

But it's not realistic and I like some realism to my games.  Games where the characters' motivations are good or evil and are simply based on the main character's drive are infinitely more intriguing to me.  Greater good?  That's a nice idea but most people are out for themselves.  They'd benefit from peace and justice but the motive isn't simply peace and justice.

Give me a character that breathes and lives and I'll take them, good or evil, over someone who's wooden and unbelievable.

I've found anti-heroes to be more engaging and interesting than heroes. Or at least, heroes with flaws.

Dark sword Z :

Not all anti-heros are evil; they're just not a conventional good guy and might have some questionable morals (yet still not be pure evil).

Anti hero hands down. They play by their own rules. They don't give in to threats or allow the villain's to gain any sort of control and they have a natural instinct in the nature of evil. Anti heroes won't be deterred by a hostage or a threat. They will act and risk everything to get the job done. While a hero would meet the demands in the hope a villain would slip up an anti-hero would call the bluff assuming that the villain is serious never giving an inch.

Anti heroes are more direct and don't care about hurt feelings the only downside is they tend to get caught in revenge.

if I were an anti-hero I would deal out poetic justice. I would punish the guilty who beat the system and free the innocent who were wrongly imprisoned. And make my name go side by side with fear and punishment. My mark would burn in the imaginations of the guilty and shine light on the innocent.
