Stuck After An Anime?

Have you ever felt stuck/lost after finishing up an anime? If so, what did you do?

You know that feeling when you feel depressed with that one anime that you have been watching ends with the last episode? Yeah, that feeling.  What did the feeling felt? How well did you handle it? And if you haven't experienced it yet, what would you do if were in such a situation?

For me, I have dealt with it. Which is why I keep a list full of anime I want to watch-- after I'm done with the current one I'm watching (which would be Inuyasha). The first time I felt it, was when I watched Angel Beats. Boy was that the saddest anime I watched. Sulking for a whole day, I found an anime called Sakurasou no pet. I loved it so much, but it was coming to an end. So, I decided I should make a list of anime to watch. Even though I still feel sad, whenever a good anime ends, I know what to watch next.

So, how 'bout you?

Kuti_Kat : I believe you're referring to something i like to call,"The Void."

The Void is basically a feeling of emptiness, after watching an amazing show. The brain basically thinks,"My god..I will never see something that good again." Usually followed by sadness.

The only time this has happened to me,was after i watched 3 series.Madoka Magica,Steins Gate, and Fate/Zero.It's quite a terrible feeling.

I compare it to being a drug addict. And you're just figuring out that the drug you're addicted to,no longer exist. It almost feels like you can never experience that same..Well,i suppose you could say "High," Again.

But,you will eventually find a show that can make you feel like that again. However, the cycle will just continue.Cruel mistress, isn't it?
