I've been looking into voice acting a lot lately simply because of some really awesome VAs I love.  I haven't met any of them, sadly, but I'd love to meet Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Vic Mignogna, Roger Craig Smith, Troy Baker, Rob Paulsen...the list continues on. 

Have you met your favorite voice actors/actresses?  I'd love to hear your stories!

I actually met and shook Travis Willingham's hand. He is my all time favorite voice actor. Not to mention when he came to Naka Kon there was a funny moment that happened where he freaked out about a cos-player wearing one of those weird horse heads.

A month ago, in a manga convention, I met 3 of my childhood heroes: the Catalan voice actors for Goku, Vegeta and Cell. However, it came with bad news: the Catalan voice actor for Master Roshi died years ago.

I don't know many American voice actors, but I would like to meet the Japanese ones, simply because they are the original voices of the anime. Maybe that same manga convention can attract some of them in following years.

I can't say I've ever met any big-time voice actors. But I wish I could. I don't really have any favourites, or at least none that I can think of right now.

I consider myself a voice actor. :0 When I was young, I had my voice evaluated for choir, and I have an "unlimited" vocal range, meaning I can hit pretty much any pitch, really low or really high. I'm also very good at accents and impressions, so I often make myself out to be an amateur voice actor. I've never really considered trying it as a career, but I might, if I get to meet the cool other voice actors
