I actually really love muffins. My favourite kind is banana nut, but I do love blueberry and carrot muffins too. I usually pick them up from this little bakery not too far from me or coffee shops.

It's funny you mention muffins, this morning at work, the boss brought in a bunch of them for us, and cookies. Chocolate muffin with chocolate chips and a blueberry muffin tasted quite good this morning.

I happen to quite like muffins. I like blueberry muffins, banana muffins, and chocolate chip muffins. In my opinion, though, nothing beats pumpkin muffins. I don't know why, but there's just something about pumpkin pastries that I really like.

I effing love muffins but even though I eat a lot of unhealthy food I tend to steer clear of muffins because of all the butter they use. I heard its a stick of butter per one of those fist sized muffins at Costco. Count me out. I rather eat the same amount of calories in a big mac. The thing is when I do eat muffins I eat any flavor as long as they aren't dry. If people offer me healthy muffins, they will be gone in a heartbeat especially if I have some milk.

Although I probably liked it when I was younger, I tend not to like icing.  Whether it's on cake or cupcakes, it's usually too sweet for me.  Even if it's the cool whip kind, I'd prefer a lighter spreading than a heavier one.  It's for that reason that I prefer muffins.

It'd be hard to pick a favorite flavor though.  Poppy seed, cranberry orange, and chocolate are all great.

Corn muffins are probably one of my favorite. They have to have lots of butter though or they tend to be very dry.

When I ate muffins (I've gone Paleo since), I used to make them myself with bananas, nuts and maple syrup/honey. On the latter ingredient, its make the dough more liquid, helping you make more muffins or make them bigger. I suggest half a cup for 12 muffins (maple syrup is better).

Its sad that I might have to go on some sort of a muffin hiatus for a bit because the place I get my muffins from stopped their sale so its going to be a bit harder to get them and I will have to either buy them somewhere else, probably for way more expensive, or make them myself.
