Probably the bass to be honest. When I got my first car, I discovered that there were thumpers in all 4 doors, and 9 x 12 's in the trunk. The dealership didn't even realize it.

So, I downloaded some rock music, and the bass just got me hooked. I've been listening to different forms of rock ever since.

I can listen to and enjoy the majority of music genres, I think, with the exception of music before the 60s (with a few exceptions) and the music of today (Again, with a few exceptions). But the genre I say I love the most in general is rock. But more specifically, I like screamo, punk rock, skate pop, punk pop and all sorts. Deathcore and skate punk are the two most contradictory that I like, I think.
The way I found the whole Alternative scene was from a classic and amazing racing game 'Burnout 3: Takedown' which is arguably my favourite game of all time. 'Simpsons: Hit and Run' and 'GTA IV' are pretty much the only competition in that sense. Some things I liked about 'Burnout 3' were the game physics, the: Intense, fun and sometimes difficult racing competitions, the entire crashing bit and the whole 'Takedowns means BOOST!!' thing. But, as well as all of that, I loved the SOUNDTRACK. Burnout 3, no doubt, has the greatest soundtrack of any time in any multiverse ever. From My Chemical Romance's 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge' album hit 'I'm Not Okay', also known as my favourite song of all time, to 'From First To Last', that band that Skrillex was in before he messed up his voice doing screamo and went to dubstep: This soundtrack has it all, but bad music of course. That is where I found the genre that I love.
YouTube has also been a major factor to my music taste. Because of the recommended videos at the side and obviously all the songs people from all over the Internet have uploaded, it has shown me SO MUCH MUSIC. Like you would not believe. I have wrote a lot and I shall stop. Bye .

First off it was 90's music, then it was video games music such as final fantasy games crash bandicoot 2, another I went into was Japanese music. And really....its amazing to listen too. I also have Christian music at times I listen too. To be honest I have many that I listen too and different types of ones. ^^

My favourite music genre is Synthwave. Describing it I would say.....80s film soundtracks jacked up to ultra-awesome proportions.

What got me into it were the Hotline Miami games, though more the second game as it was that one that REALLY started my love.

My dad and his favorite band, Metallica, got me into Metal and Rock. I never understood why people didn't like it, but they're entitled to their own opinion. I also got into electronic music by listening to a remix of Discord made by The Living Tombstone, and kept listening to it since.
