Allright movie lovers and such. Here is my first review on vizzed and on a movie teaser trailer of all things.

Star Wars episode 7: The Force Awakens (teaser trailer)

The trailer opens in the desert, a notable place we have seen in past Star Wars films. Which one it is is unclear to me though I'm sure we all remember Tatooine classically. Into the opening shot we get the beginning of a narrative which extends throughout the teaser. My best educated guess is that this character doing the narrative is going to be the major protagonist of this run in the series for these next three films. To rate the narrative I would have to say well done. The acting was good as any acting can be good when you forget in that kinda funny way that this is just acting but, I don't notice it.

Each particular moment in this teaser trailer has sort of its own unique que though I am unsure as to where its all going. It is not necessarily too mystifying thanks to the narrative though, I would have thought that this would be more obvious to a degree and not so subtle.

The music...classic tunes of Star Wars we are familiar with but, maybe a little too close to familiarity for my taste.

The shots...exceptionally nice in that we get an invariable idea that we are gonna be going places as usual with Star Wars. The feel though of these shots is a bit undermined I find save for the one where we see our I believe potential protagonist (new sith lord maybe???) hit the snowy woods with his light sabre (not literally, he is just going...somewheres). To me I'm getting the vague idea that in the shots it may be a little staged and that takes away remarkably from any presentation especially a movie. This also leads me to believe that the movies themselves will have this feel...that is not the point of this review though.

Overall all I have to give Disney an A for effort when it comes to effort as they are putting it in and you can tell. As far as the presentation there is room for improvement decidedly. Lastly, even though I am not a fan of Star Wars anymore I like how the narrative gives us that idea that there is totally something new going on here and ultimately I find it saves the teaser.

To put it in umpire terms...LOL...I would have to say as far as this reviewer is concerned they got to home plate and are "SAFE!"
