Well, today is Thanksgiving and it has brought a thought to me. While Thanksgiving is really an American holiday what do we think if there were a worldwide Thanksgiving day? Its an American tradition that has gone on for years. I find it interesting to think however, if this became a worldwide phenomenon. We all coexist in an ultimately worldwide society that while has its differences it also embraces unity as a path that expresses our wish for the greater good and acceptance. Christmas notably the most widespread holiday and the only other thing really traditionally speaking out there although it is a sports event is the summer/winter Olympics when it comes to worldwide participation together. I believe if we had a worldwide day for giving thanks...perhaps as Americans this is a tradition we could share with everyone else, then maybe we could all as a combined force could add to the relative idea that no matter what, we have each other and that is what counts. That is my thought today and I put it out there to share with everyone else on how they may feel about it. Thank you and happy thanksgiving to all!

Thanksgiving isn't just an American tradition. Here in Canada we have Thanksgiving as well, only it is in October instead of November. I'm not sure about other countries but every country celebrates holidays in their own way, and may have different names for it other than Thanksgiving.

I would like to wish you a happy thanksgiving, and that you are well this holiday season

Considering the origins of thanks giving was doing over the natives and stealing all their crops, this isn't something id ever celebrate.
How many natives observe it?
