Hi! ^^ I've been new since a few days myself and everybody seems very nice so I really wouldn't be worried about becoming well-liked : D I love Sonic too. The newer games have been getting a lot of critique. Here in my country anyway, but I still like them. I haven't played those on the WiiU yet though, but they seem great as well ^^ Have you played Sonic Generations? I haven't yet, but it looks amazing. I really want it for my ps3. Sadly I haven't found it yet D:

With Pokémon, so far I've only played the three first generations, but I'll quickly catch up on the others too ^w^ My all-time favorite Pokémon will always be Mewtwo though.
