I don't like snow since it's so cold and when the snow is deep, I always get snow in my shoes. Besides, my school district almost never closes the schools on a snow day. Thank god winter break just started today for me.

It never snows in Central Texas.... consider yourself lucky
I don't know why people wouldn't like snow...... the downsides aren't too bad compared to the fun you can have! Or maybe my memories of snow from long ago aren't very accurate, and it might be a burden to me today; either way, I really don't mind snow.

I've barely seen any snow ever since November. I've only seen frost on the ground and some snowflakes falling once in a while. I've barely seen any rain too. All I've had is a lot of sunny, cold days, and lately, very windy days.

Where I live, if you see snow, it's extremely rare because it, always stay above freezing and if temps goes below freezing, it's normally clear outside. Although last winter, it did snow one day and we had a couple days where we had freezing rain, but that was it.

As a general rule, I love snow. It's one of the easiest climate "hazards" to deal with: you don't get wet, it's easy to dispose of (when it's cold enough) and I love cold in general. Unlike wind storms, rain or earthquakes (of if you live in Buffalo, NY), snow does not endanger your life.

What get annoying about snow is when cities are just plain incompetent when the temperature drops. In Boise, ID, there are only 23 snowploughs for the WHOLE county. In other words, authorities are basically praying for the snow to melt away...

As a general rule I like snow but as far as having to shovel it ... that just sucks. Yeah I live in Wisconsin and we usually get a lot of snow this time of year. So far tho the weather has been ok and we have not been snow bound much this year. I think we are like 10 to 15 inches under what we would normally get. People think I'm nuts because off and on while it's snowing or just cold ( like 20 degrees or higher ) I will go out in shorts , t-shirt, and flip flops. Lately tho it has been all warmer clothes because we have been getting a lot of temperatures that are well below 0. The lowest one I think was last week I think. It was -12 with a wind chill making it feel like -50. Brrrrrrr!!!

I live just outside of Atlanta, and for the past couple of years, we don't even have a hint of snow until late January. It snows maybe once and if we're lucky, twice a year. I absolutely hate snow as well, and when it does snow here in Atlanta, everyone panics! We don't have nearly enough snow equipment to quickly and effectively get rid of the snow on the roads. Its an absolute disaster every time 3 snowflakes hit the ground...schools close, roads are shut down, and theres accidents everywhere! But yet, when we're watching the Weather Channel, places like New York and Chicago have no problem coping with the same amount of snow that we get.

I don't like the snow either, but I live in a place where nobody knows how to handle it when it does snow. Just know that things could be worse...

It still hasn't snowed where I am yet. But if snow is that terrible I guess it's a good thing. I'm the luckiest Pikachu :-P.

I've had a lot of snow in the past years I remember a couple years back we
had so much school that we were closed from school for the whole week cause it snowed 3 times in that
week but also at the same time it was pretty bad and we couldn't go anywhere and were stuck
but I mean I had fun cause being little all I wanted to do was play in snow, good times though
while it lasted but this year I haven't gotten anything its been a really dry winter for me and
I miss the snow its been bad, but I hope that doesn't signal a bad summer for us lol

I wish we could have had more snow this year, we only had snow once all winter here really and it sucked. It wasn't even a lot so it melted right away. People are saying it might only snow once more here for the winter so its nothing like it was last year with half a dozen blizzards.

Here in the Middle East it's so hot I rarely ever see snow, so for me it isn't "terrible, terrible"; it's "glorious, glorious", ha ha!

Anyway, congrats (I guess?)!... I don't really know whether to congratulate or feel sorry for people who say they've encountered snow. I usually instinctively say "congrats" since I personally LOVE it and haven't seen it since three years ago on a school trip to the mountains xD.

Well apparently, according to the weather people, in about 10 hours, New York is going to be hit with a super blizzard, possibly one of the 4 biggest snow storms of the past 20 years according to them. If the actual amount of snow is anything near what the reports say, this could be the most snow I have ever seen at once, and I saw a snow storm that took a full month to fully melt.
