Best example I can think of Is Pokemon Liquid Crystal. Its a remake of Pokemon Crystal as the name implies, but it also adds new characters and areas while still keeping the original story. It is also quite difficult, with trainer pokemon usually being on par with your team at any given moment. You should try Light Platinum if you haven't already. If I remember correctly, it runs on the same engine as Pokémon Emerald. Plus, it's an amazing hack. It has it's own unique storyline, and it has a lot of Sinnoh Pokémon added to it. Plus, the game doesn't just end after the Elite Four - there are other regions to explore and things to do. It's one of the best Pokémon hacks out there (in my opinion) so I highly recommend you try it.

I'd say that new hack on here Pokemon Mega Power looks pretty promising, any hack that actually edits maps, and the player is pretty promising, however it's still in beta stages so there's probably a few bugs who knows. Pokemon Dark Rising and Pokemon Dark Rising 2 are good ones as well. Those ones having unique storylines.

Pokemon Ruby Destiny games, except for the weird PMD one they made, not sure why they used FireRed and not Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue team for the base is beyond me, but those are quite unique and enjoyable as well. Light Platinum is pretty good there, but it's a bit overrated by this point. Pokemon Mirage of Tales is another excellent hack, as well as Pokemon The Darkest Timeline.

Pokemon Apollo, which you never said hacks on vizzed, so I don't know but that kinda limits options anyways, but this is another good hack, this one you can play as a Rocket Grunt. There's also a hack out there called Pokemon Rose. Pokemon DarkViolet is good but the hack maker pulled the plug, which is a tragedy that falls on some hacks.

pokemon light platinum is the best you can catch all legendary try to play it.

Every game I do here is Pokemon. I have only played a few of the games on that list. Vizzed has quite a vast library with hacks for every original. I'll never be able to play them all.

Hmm.....postman has already suggested some.... here's one I finished streaming on twitch last Saturday. Its called Pokemon Touhou Merry's Version. I was trying to find a good poke hack game to stream one day. Which was a blind for me. And I kept on searching and saw this game. Not knowing what was in store for me of how it went I played the game. I absolutely loved playing it from the beginning till the end. I highly recommend you to try it. Also another game that postman said which I have not completed pokemon moemon is another great one.

I'd say that any of the games from the Ruby Destiny series are at least worth a shot. Be warned, though: they present significantly more of a challenge in comparison to the main series Pokemon games. If you can get over that hurdle, though, there certainly is some quality content to be found.

Pokemon Sweet is one of the most original Hacks out there, i highly recommend it
