I have one thing to say I'm Asian. And since most of you guys know most Asians eat rice and other kind of Asian food. But almost my entire life I wondered what Americans/non-Asian/other people eat with their family. For a person who eats rice, every dinner in her house, has to wonder, right? Don't get me wrong the family goes out to eat once a while. But really what to you people eat for dinner? I didn't want to ask my friends, cause that'll be a little awkward, so I'm asking you guys XD
So please help a Asian out! ;-;

LOL I know just how you feel, except I'm from all over Europe. I'm from Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, and just a bit from poland. That's a lot isn't it? I'm just glad I get a lot of good food!
Some things I eat are:
Paella (sweet Jesus that stuff is beautiful)
Even though I'm not Russian, I really like piroshki 
Moussaka
A bunch of wurst and for my parents, beer.

Pasta. Lots of it.

I like to mix it up a bit.  Tonight I made spicy chicken flautas (taquitos).  Some of my favorite meals to make are chicken fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, chicken cordon blue, enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, pizza, lo mein, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, hash browns and omelettes, grilled steak and baked potato.  I try to include one of the following per meal: rice, potato, pasta, bread.  This winter I will be making lots of soups and stews.

My mom likes to be creative with her meals. We almost never eat the same thing twice within a 2 week period, which is fantastic. Some of our favorite meals include Hungarian Goulash, Turkey Casserole, Turkey Dinner (we do that many times per year), Stouffer's Meat Lasagna, various forms of meat cooked in a crockpot, and Chicken w/ Rice.

I'm American.  We usually have a main meal, generally a protein or noodle type thing, a vegetable or secondary starch (if it's protein, not with noodles), and some sort of third item.

So:

American dude of Guyanese descent here. My mom usually makes anything she feels like. It's usually anything from American to Italian to the traditional Guyanese ingredients and dishes. For example, a couple of months she decided to make Pepperpot for dinner, a common Guyanese dish usually served around Christmas time. It's mainly a thick stew consisting of meat and peppers. I usually eat it with rice of bread.

Other than that, dinner time is generally the same in terms of ingredients. I have the typical rice with meats/poultry and vegetables. I'm still learning how to cook, though I can make rice and pasta.

But as for a response to the OP, I actually tend to try and incorporate rice and veggies into my diet as I possibly can, but usually have to eat what the rest of my family can eat... which, as an American.... is a lot of meat. I have no problem with meat, but too much can make one sick.

I am so jealous that you get to eat rice a lot. It's actually one of my favorite foods! Just be glad that you've got a nice diet and enjoy other things that life has to offer, like the outdoors... and video games, ahehehehe~ <3
