Ok, I was browsing around IGN earlier ago today and I seen an article that just made my mind you know what itself.
Ok, get this, PETA (I would say a lot of things about this group but swearing isn't allowed on the site) has made a server on Minecraft, and I told myself, you know how stupid this is, you know how many griefers out out there + hackers + how many people hates PETA, that isn't a good combination.

Personally, as being one of the Minecraft server OPs and  the secondary creator of the Vizzed Server, personally, our server does get griefed here and there, even with the Grief Protection plug-in, and we have a small server (only Vizzed users know about the server). imagine PETA's server and how many people hates them, bad idea.
Their server is set to release on November 15th, but I bet it will be destroyed by November 16th.

calebjudah : Exactly, what happened to Minecraft Denmark, and it don't have as much hate to the creators than how many people hate PETA, and if you look at it, if you though the griefing of Minecraft Denmark was bad, imagine how it will be griefed in PETA's "Animal Utopia".

They might not even be particularly aware of PETA's rap-sheet, and I'm pretty sure they'd feel pretty terrible if perhaps weeks of work got wrecked, especially if it was a kid setting it up.

Of course, I'm speaking with little knowledge of how specifically they're going about this. I just know that hate destroys, and I'd rather not see minecrafters do something in haste that might be regretted later.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
