I'm excited to have found a community that loves these games as much as I do. I hope to chat with you all in the future.

As a side note, I notice that some games (such as Final Fantasy IX) don't have the 'Play Game' buttons available like other games. Are these listings strictly for forum posts, or have I set up something wrong so that I'm not seeing the 'Play Game' option?

In order to play a game, it has to be in the Retro Game Room, with is on the upper left. The Video Game Room is in the upper right side of the page, and that is to help you keep track of the games you have. You search for the game that you have, click on the system that it's for, and then you click " Add To Collection. " It's a really cool feature of the site that has come in real handy for me since I have a bunch of digital copies of games for my XBOX 360.

As far as info about me, I love stories, so most of the video games I call favorites have intriguing and engaging tales. That's what drew me towards RPGs when I was younger, though I tired of the conventional "small town boy saves the world" theme pretty quickly. I'd say a turning point for me in video gaming was when a friend let me borrow Bioshock and I realized just how detailed these worlds could be. 

My favorite food is lasagna, though I could eat sushi for the rest of my life and be happy.

I can tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a city guy and I live where weather is unpredictable. It could be nice and sunny one day, wet and rainy the next. I love to draw. I mainly draw Pokemon but, I'm trying to vary what I draw. I'm now drawing many different things (Sonic characters, Mario, anime). I have drawn quite a few things outside of Pokemon. When I'm not busy playing on my computer, I like to read anything that consists of action/adventure (Warrior series, Harry Potter, etc.)

I am a video game nerd. I love playing video games day in and day out. I love playing Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, Spyro, Kirby, Zelda, and many many more. I'm not a sports kinda person to play them on the gaming consoles. I may play a little bit of sports outside of gaming but, I don't do much outdoor activity. I'm always couped up in my room on my computer playing games. I'm ok with playing some shooter games (Modern Warfare, Halo, etc.)

mountaineerwd : G'day from Australia! I'm miystery, and I'm a country kid (though you wouldn't know it) and I go to the city every morning for school. Just like you I play video games, anything from Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and many, many more.

I also play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG (trading card game), and I also play soccer, touch footy and softball. I do read a bit, about mythology, and stories involving anything about Greek or Roman mythology including Percy Jackson.

Final Fantasy 9 is a Playstation game and in order to play Playstation games, you will need to buy the Playstation item to play Playstation games. The Playstation item is 25,000 Viz at the moment until December 3rd so purchase it beforehand.
