Hi, my name is Qwirky and I want to say hello to everyone.   I started out using many of the games on this site with the original game systems.  They have since broken and I have not been able to use them.  I started out with one of the first Intellivision game systems that was brought out by GTE Sylvania.  I was an employee of GTE at the time and got a huge discounted price for the purchase.  To the best of my recollection I paid approximately $800.00 for a game system that cost retail approximately $1400.00.  We later got into the Colecovision and had nearly all the games for both Colecovision and Intellivision.  My three kids grew up with nearly all the mainstream game systems.  They played games at their grandparents home also and that is where they got introduced to the commodore games.  I had one of the rare games that you could only get by sending in for a refund offer, Koolaid Man.

Wow, you have quite a detailed introduction there... What games have you been playing, on vizzed? Stay active, and most importantly,  HAVE FUN! I hope you will enjoy the site as much as I do.

Welcome to Vizzed and thank you for being my first referral.  I didn't think the Intellevision cost that much.  That had to be the same cost for a decent used car. 

For anyone else reading this post, Qwirky is my Mom, who was interested in the site after I showed here some Intellevision games I was playing.

I think that you are the oldest member on Vizzed that I have seen yet so far. I give props to you! Also that is quite the introduction right there especially with those prices right there.

I hope that you will enjoy your time here especially with the selections of retro consoles and retro games that Vizzed has to offer.

Qwirky : Please do not take this offensively but it's nice to see some older people joining the site to perhaps show the younger members how to properly act. 

That certainly is a very informative bio, Most usually just say hello and something about Pokémon being the reason they came here or another popular franchise. 

Wow, Do you still own the game, Honestly speaking I am not familiar with it as I am from the United Kingdom and we don't have kool aid here so it was probably never available here. 

So I have a question for you.

What would you consider the most revolutionary console to ever be created? 

Either way if you have any problems or need any help, Just ask the site staff or the local moderators and they should be able to help you out.

Welcome on Vizzed! It's cool to see somebody so old around! If I remember correctly, a woman about your age once signed up here as well but I think she forgot about the site.

I think Muffin wanted to say that since there are some kids on this website who might not be as serious as older people, that it would be good to have more balance on the site with some older members here as well. But the majority of members here is kids and young adults like me however.

So you got here because you are interested in the game system emulators? That's very cool, nostalgia is one of the main reasons people come here to play games. Even though I'm a 16 year old and you probably think 'oh, there we he have another boy who likes to play simple shooters like Call of Duty' it's somewhat the opposite, although playing that kind of games with my friends is okay to don once in a while, I prefer game classics like Mario, and I like to play on old game systems like the Gameboy Advance, SNES and the Gameboy.

I think that your son has already told you about many things on the site, but if you're still around with questions, then feel free to ask me for help. If I can't help you, I will ask one of the more experienced members around here, or the site staff.

cabuscus :  Thank you for the nice welcome, I hope you enjoy your time here also.  Being Retro is not always a bad thing.  I have always related well to all ages.  One thing to remember is you are only as old as you want to be.  Actually most people are very surprised to find out that I am the age I am since I tend to look many years younger than I am.  I am old enough to be your grandma so you can just call me Grandma Qwirky if you like, hahaha

sonicmcmuffin :  Thanks for the warm welcome and I am not easily offended so I am used to people being surprised at my age.  I love going to carnivals and winning prizes because they can never guess my age within 4 years!!!  No through the years I have moved a few times and the games have since been lost or given away.  As for the revolutionary console I would have to say that my favorite was the Colecovision, it has some unique games for its time.

juuldude :  Thanks for the warm welcome.  I enjoy people of all ages and nationalities.  The world is a much better place to be when you can relate to others.  In this day of uncertainty it is nice to be able to have fun with others.  Enjoy the site and never grow old, people are so much fun, no matter what the age is!!!

Quirky: Just as a heads up you can summon multiple people in a post, Just make sure it is on a new line and the summon them by typing their name and putting a colon after it, will save you hassle and will probably stop moderators moaning at you for making a new post reply to every person

LoL yeah I am young yet I would say my inner age/aura is 38. I got really scared by creepypastas when I was 8 and I am more deep thinking and mature now.
