About a week ago, I installed a N64 emulator on my phone (android) since some of the N64 games don't work so well on Vizzed for me and since my parents also have to use the computer for their work.

I've got this emulator from the playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Lukas.Fast64

So far I've downloaded some games, and while games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Kart 64 work perfect, there are of course some games as well that won't run well. Some games have minor problems, like slowing down a bit (Zelda Ocarina of Time) or not having character faces (Super Smash Bros) and some games don't work at all. However, I've tried Paper Mario and most things in the game run smooth, but there are a few annoying bugs: Massive flickering, missing text dialogues at some points and characters who either don't appear on the screen or appear as a square, no joke.

At first I thought it had to do with my rom, but I tried other roms and did some research and it turned out it had to do with the emulator. So I've tried other apps from the Google Play Store but these don't work as well.

So I've been looking for emulators that will run Paper Mario well (and hopefully, some other games as well) and I've read something about N64oid. I've tried to download something that looked like it on this site: http://sourceforge.net/projects/n64oid/ but it didn't work at all. Does anybody have any advice about which emulator to get, or what I could try to do about the problem?

imamonster : I found a solution!

So what was the main problem were two things:
1) Most emulators I found online were Windows emulators. After some research, I found out the only good N64 emulator besides the ones on the Google Play Store is N64oid, the one I mentioned before.
2) I was looking at the wrong site, this is the right one for the emulator:
http://slideme.org/application/n64oid

But it costs money, and I didn't want to spend money. I found two alternate solutions, and I'm using one of them right now:
http://www.papktop.com/tag/n64oid
This list contains all the versions of the N64oid emulator, if you want to get the newest version you will have to download it at the site I've mentioned before. However, the site also has the data for the older versions, so you can get a slightly outdated version that will work well I believe.
http://download.pandaapp.com/?net=www&app=soft&controller=android&action=search
On this site, somebody shared the data of the emulator he downloaded himself, so that other users can download it for free. You can only get the newest version though, so if your phone can't run it, an older version might be better for you. I got this one and it's been working almost flawless so far.

So I guess that my problem is fixed!
