I'm crying right now. I'm wiping the tears off my face, and I feel that lump in my throat. My face is red. I'm crying.

Why am I crying?

I just watched Uncle Buck. Have any of you seen Uncle Buck? If not, I recommend it. It's a great movie.

It's been eons since a movie made ME cry. It takes so much to make me cry that I end up crying because of how disappointed I am that I don't ever cry. That's how hard it is to make me cry. In fact, I don't think a movie ever made me cry. The only movie/song/non-physical-pain-inducing thing that ever made me cry was when the fans started singing at Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions.

Uncle Buck isn't even a particularly dramatic movie. In fact, it's partially a comedy! The movie might have helped a little bit, but the real reason I'm crying is because of what the ending made me think of.

I won't spoil too much. The movie revolves around an uncle who gambles and isn't particularly successful career-wise who has to babysit his nephew and nieces for a little while. He's a good guy at heart. The teenage girl has an attitude - not a good one - and rolls her eyes at him constantly due to his clumsiness. He's hilarious, and he tries to make the kids happy, but she doesn't like him. She doesn't like anyone, in fact. They better understand each other at the end, though. When he leaves, she waves at him, and he waves at her back.

That's when the movie ends. When Uncle Buck waves back. It freezes with his hand in the air. Why did this make me cry? The actor was John Candy, and he died later. Also, the credits music helped. And I was watching it with my dad, who loved the movie. Then, my dad gave me a hug. And I cried. R.I.P, John Candy. His character was so lovable.

What made you cry recently?

I cried when Krillin died in the original dragon ball, but i'm weird. I also rarely cry, but there is stuff that catch me off-guard. Like when Vegeta holds trunks before he commits suicide to safe him, ace dying in one piece. And some other movies.

I do remember something similar to this movie, is it the same? I dunno. This doesn't particurarly grab me, but I can see why it would grab you.

I have the same case as you; it's hard to make me cry, and i haven't actually cried in a long time. The last time i think was back in 2012, watching another John Candy film - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, when Del reveals what his life is truly like.

I do remember watching Uncle Buck, but it was millenia ago, so i don't really remember.

I cry pretty easily actually. I was crying just a few minutes ago while listening to one of my favourite song's off of Taylor's new album: Clean. The lyrics just break me every single time I listen to it, especially the chorus. I just relate to it so well, and the music just adds to the feel of the song.

I cried whilst watching Les Miserables. However, I do think that certain manga have turned on the waterworks more than anything that I know- Oyasumi Punpun and Welcome to the NHK being top contenders. It really hit close to a lot of my fears, and anxieties, and seeing people live out these fates really hit something.
