I have been wanting to do a youtube channel, but I haven't found anything to record the videos with. So I need your help in finding some software. What did/ do you use to record gameplay? Where can I find it, and does it cost money. If possible I would like to get software that is free, but I don't know if that is possible. Any suggestions?

I use fraps for my pc. If you have ok specs on your laptop than it is worth investment. I don't know exactly the system requirements but my PC is a little crap and it works well on most games.

I only use OBS, ita free and easy to use. All you have to do is set it up and pick record instead of stream and depending on what you are recording, you should be able to record without any problems at all. What are some games you plan on recording?
