The next three days went so fast. I couldn’t even believe it. Sunday wasn’t any fun, I just sat in front of my computer all day and watched YouTube videos. It wasn’t amusing, but it gave me at least something to do. I was basically doing work since I was looking for ideas to edit more videos. On Monday, I was working my butt off, that way, the next day, I could relax for the audition. However, my job is particularly easy. People with YouTube videos hand in a video that they want to be edited, rather than using Windows Movie Maker. I am good at my job, editing at least twenty videos a day. But on this day, I edited at least thirty different videos, from videos of cats to videos of video games. I do watch every video that I edit, then leave a little comment. Then came Tuesday. Tuesday. Tuesday. It seems weird on the tongue when you say it. Tuesday. Anyways, it was the day of the audition. When I woke up, I was so excited. Today was the day that I was going to see if I could be on the show! My dream that I had on Saturday was interesting, mainly because it was something like a nightmare. I woke up early that day, that way, I can just get my mind together. I made myself some scrambled eggs and toast. Too many things were going through my mind, but I somehow managed to stay awake. I love to At precisely eight o'clock in the morning, I ran into my car. I turned it on, and then started playing music from my very special phone. Why is it special? you ask. Well, I made it by myself. On most of my “work days” I do have enough time to work with my favorite hobby: phone making. My latest phone, the Justin X, is the one that I am currently using. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat (yummy), has a five-inch screen, stereo sound, and a qHD display. Amazing, isn’t it? But wait, there’s more. It is a developer phone, so I can do things that retail phones can’t do. But I can talk about that later. Within 35 minutes, I was there. I was finally there. It was my audition. I had a chance to go on the show. When I walked in the door, it was stunning. The lights shined brightly. I couldn’t believe it. A lady gave me a look and then said, “Hello. Just go through that door on the left.” Following her directions, I made it to the studio, or, audition center. There were lots of people - I’m sure they all wanted to be part of the game. To my surprise, a short man walked in, and then he yelled. “Welcome to our show! I see you are all here to audition for our 11th season! We will finally be going on the air after all these years!” We all cheered, but not really understanding why. Yes, this was a big advancement for the show, but at the same time, why wasn’t this on television in the first place? The man pointed at me, and then said, “Here. Lemme get this over with. Get ready for your audition.” I walked over to the man, and then walked over to a table with a touch screen monitor. “You ready?” he asked. “You look nervous.” “I’m nervous and ready,” I said. “Well then, let’s play!” Lights dimmed, ambient music cued, blah blah blah. It was basically like my dream, which was very expected. “Okay then, you have to answer twenty questions,” he said. “Your first question is worth one hundred dollars, the last question, is worth two million dollars. Now isn’t that cool?” The entire audience roared in amazement. “If you need help, you have three ‘helps’. Let’s explain the three. The first one is called Poll the People, which will give the opportunity for our great studio audience to have their say. The next one is called Take Two, which removes two wrong answers from the question. And finally, there is Phone Pal, and you can call anyone you want within the great United States.” At this point, I wanted to fall a On Monday, I was working my butt off, that way, the next day, I could relax for the audition. I actually LOVED the show back in my youth, and although I don't like game shows as much as I used to (I feel it's an inappropriate way to give out money), I like something that can poke good, clean fun at them. I'm looking forward to the next part!
