Hello this would be my 6th review. I'm going to stop on this one for now. Meaning I won't put up any new ones for sometime. I hope this perks up your interest to watch it. ^-^


Fruits Basket Anime Review

Synopsis 7 out of 10: A quiet girl named Tohru Honda, gets caught by two Sohmas Named Yuki and Shigure. They ask of her presence in their home resident area, and so she explains herself. Which would be a surprise to them. By the head of the Sohma family named Akito. He allows her to stay with Yuki and Shigure. But, asks in return to keep their family secret as she saw what happened. With Tohru Hondas parents both dead, and also living with the Sohmas. How will this affect her future, and also what does Akito have in store for Tohru?


Genre 6 out of 10: Its has fantasy, romance, comedy-drama and reverse harem genre. The comedy is really great. It will make you laugh non-stop.


Story 7 out of 10: Its about Tohru Honda being found by the Sohmas. And also finding out their family secret as well. Due to that, Shigure had to have a meeting with Akito to discuss about it. Akito says it is ok for her to stay, but to make sure that no one else knows of it. Or she will have her memory erased. But things are not what she expects. As she meets all of the Sohmas due to their family curse of turning into animals, once hugged by either a girl or a boy. For boys would be girls and for girls would be the boys.


Graphics 8 out of 10: The graphics has a standard look, same for other things in the anime. It shows some drawings for the next scene cut. There is one thing that I will point out though and that would be their eyes.....if you look closely its almost the same shape. Or more like it is but in different colours I mean all of the Sohmas. I like how the graphics are in the anime because it looks so peaceful in a way. As this type of anime is not noisy most of the time. What I mean by that is, you know you have action ones? Such as dragon ball z people killing and stuff and lots of fights. There are fights in this but, not as hardcore to the point.


Sound 6 out of 10: Ok.....I am not going to beat around the bush to do with the sound. Sad to say that, I don't really like the opening or the ending song. I feel most people don't, and some do....I was expecting a peaceful kind of song, but not in that way. Apart from that, the sound itself is awesome. What I do love is the sound effects, there are a lot of them in this anime. What I liked about that is how it grabs your attention. Its really funny how they do it, because that also draw more viewers in a way, of seeing that funny. And not only the comedy part of it. I suggest that you watch it this anime in the dub. Why? Here's why. It is much more funnier, I have seen it in the sub its funny too, but not funnier than the dub.


Addictiveness 7 out of 10: This anime.....it sure is addicting. After watching it for the first time. You'll want to rewatch it again but, the funny episodes.


Depth 7 out of 10: The story in the manga is a bit different. In the manga Akito is a girl and not a boy. This is another anime with people that has long legs. It is very much similar to Ouran High School Host Club, Azumanga Daioh and Special A, comedy wise. It doesn't teach much, but the main things it does teach is to keep on living your life, no matter how you are, or if you are an ill person being born one. The thing I didn't also like is that...why has Akito got different genders? As a boy in the anime, and as the girl in the manga. I think the boy overall would had fit him a lot more better. As it shows when that portrays his character, giving the edge that it needs.


Overall 7 out of 10: This anime is awesome to see. I recommend for you to try it out. It has good comedy, that will make you to laugh lots. There are some emotional scenes, and other ones as well.
