Hiya! Its been a long while since I have done my anime reviews. I had to stop them for some reasons. And those reasons I needed to take care of, before I could start them up again. This is my 5th anime review. I hope you like it. ^-^


Ouran High School Host Club Anime Review

Synopsis 7 out of 10: A scruffy looking person manages to get into a private high school. And accidentally breaks an expensive vase. This person also meets with 5 host club members, named Tamaki Suou, Kyoya Ootori, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, Mitsukuni Haninozuka or known as honey- sempai and Takashi Morinozuka. They come to be in shock of how the vase broke before their eyes. And they don’t seem to have happy with that. This person has to pay them back, but does not have the money. Tamaki makes this person a host club member to pay back the broken vase. Little do they know that, they are all in for a big shock. The person whom they thought to be a male is actually a female! Her name is Haruhi Fujioka. And when you think things can not get more complicated, Haruhi comes out in a dress making Tamaki to blush. What story awaits in this anime?

Genre 7 out of 10: This anime has drama, harem romantic and comedy. So if you love romance, comedy and harem animes, then this one you should try to watch.

Story 8 out of 10: Its about a private high school, with 5 host members including a girl. Her name is Haruhi Fujioka. In the anime it starts off showing her as a boy. And as the story progresses, she reveals her background story. As of why she became the person who the host members see as now. Because the head host Tamaki made a grave mistake. They have to keep a secret from the whole school from knowing that, Haruhi is a girl. As girls are not allowed to be host members. I like how the story portrays. It fits the series well. Also there are some twist parts in it. My favorite characters will have to be. Tamaki and honey sempai. I love those two because of the comedy strings, that they both put in the anime. I mean the others are funny as well, but not as funny as these guys. But that is only my opinion based on that so you would say something different. As of who are your favorite characters in ouran high.

Graphics out of 10: Well to explain this one may be difficult but I will try too. It mainly similar to skipbeat in a way. If you have watched that skipbeat then you would know what I mean. And speaking about lips, its not the same as other anime ones. The lips have a long length. and also the way they talk as well. Ok I'll try to explain what I mean based on that. you know when you draw anime lips? it can be however you like, but if you do a long line length to create that, then you would see it. I hope that makes you to understand a bit better, of what I mean? some anime shows can tend to have that, something similar to skip beat and ouran high. that’s why animes are different in graphics, to shape its way of showing their own differences, and uniques as well.

Sound 7 out of 10: Ouran high has 2 opening songs which are both great and 1 ending song that is also great to watch in. it’s a funny comedy anime so there will be some sound effect to it, but not so much. both of the sub and the dub version is great to watch. and both are funny voice wise. I know not a lot of people would watch the dub, but have a try. I say this because I watched it in the dub, and it was pleasurable and fun to hear. not all dubs are bad in an anime. you just need to give those dubs a chance before judging wrongly about them.

Addictiveness 6 out of 10: In a medium kind of way it is. but, it can be when you rewatch the funny episodes. or normal ones as well, since you would had enjoy watching it the first time round. its up to you personally though. it might not be addicting to you, it might be.

Depth 8 out of 10: This anime is similar to other such as Special A with comedy and long legs. and Azumanga Daioh comedy wise. also the manga has a different ending to it same with the story its just a bit different. I mean like if you watch the anime you might not get to know Tamaki's parents and other useful information as well. it also has a happy ending. so you can read that instead of watching the anime but, that is up to you. the only thing I didn't like was how they made Haruhi look too much like I boy by cutting all of her hair off. I think her hair at least should had not been cut up all that way.

Overall 8 out of 10: Its fantastic to watch. it may have some boring bits, but that’s something we can all handle from time to time, when watching new, different types of animes. I recommend for you to try this anime out, that’s if you like a lot of comedy and laughter.

This a nice review, I hope you keep up the good work, Luckily i do not plan on reviewing Ouran High School Host Club for a while, But i know that it usually has a positive view on people who watch it. Maybe it's because of the awkwardness of it all, or the fact that in some places it can be rather sporadic and funny. Either way people generally like this anime!

Back to your review you really do the anime justice!, It is informative to someone who has not watched it before but yet does not reveal all of the major story points to make it pointless to watch after reading

Just for future thought you may want to bold your scores or put them on a different line so that it just looks prettier but that is my only complaint
