Here is the continuation of the story.

   At night I begin to think about how this started, how I ended up on the shores of Casablanca. Commanded by Patton, the spearhead of the invasion into the Easter Hemisphere. Why is it that we have to fight. Why did I join the Army in the first place. "I probably would have been drafted anyway," I whisper to no one in particular. "but I still wish I could be back at home with my little brother and my mom and dad." How long will I be here? My Dad's comments about the First World War pop into my head. Will this war end up like that?
   As I begin to drift into a deep sleep, I feel secure, despite the bitter cold and imminent danger. I begin to wake, but not how I expect. I wake up in a furious fight. The planes have returned, but this time the ships take more of them out. I scramble out of my make-shift bed and run to gather my supplies. My M1 Garand should come in handy, not to mention the tanks should be arrive on shore today. Today we should be able to take the small fortress! We will storm it in full force, but we won't be failing.   
   As we begin to gather the units together and find our commanding officers, We begin a full assault. Guns flash, tanks start pounding the stone walls of the fort. I fire at some people who appear to be running around, but they don't fall neither do they die. As soon as the tanks breach the "impenetrable" walls, soldiers start rushing in; and surprisingly the French soldiers surrender immediately. I begin to wonder why they even fought in the first place, if they would give up when they loose the upper hand. "Maybe this war won't take too long..." I mumble to the soldier standing next to me.
