When I go in there, should I have the list with me or no? I feel weird just looking off the list and reading questions to her.

So like, should I try to memorize questions?
Is looking at the list a bad thing to do, honestly?

And no. I've never asked this before because I've never had more than a couple of questions to ask a professor, but now I do.

What should I do?

I wouldn't be afraid to take the list with you, after all what if you want to write down something she says? You could try memorizing them if you wanted but I don't see why you would need to make this occasion a professional one. Although I don't know the reasons for you going to her with these questions, if you're just going to ask about class and such then it would be fine to bring the list. If you're trying to interview her for something I would see why you would want to memorize them but I still think it would be fine to read from a paper.
Good luck with your professor!

What's on the list?  If it is stuff that is available in the books or course material, your professor is going to get irritated with you because she's basically doing the work for you.

What's the list look like?  Give us a few sample questions for a sniff test.  We'll tell you if they're good questions or not.  There's nothing wrong with showing up with a  list because you're just being prepared while you talk to the teacher.  But.... don't bring in questions that are going to show up on a test or that can be found on page 93 of whichever text was assigned as work.  That'll be insulting and irritating for her to deal with.

Post your questions.  We'll check them out.

warmaker : How can I improve my class participation, since this (Calculus) is my weakest subject, but the one I am most interested in? How can I short hand in your class so I can take notes more quickly? As a female, what got you so interested in mathematics? I don't know too many other females aside from us who particularly like math. If you've seen the movie, Mean Girls, this could be a reason why Cady Heron is the only female on her math team.

xxeliza321xx : I don't know your professor, but I know that I probably wouldn't waste my time going in and asking those questions to my professor. Those questions are either somewhat obvious, or they sound like interview questions. I would keep the "Mean Girls" comment to yourself, and I don't even think you should mention the "female" thing, at least not at first.

As far as answers are concerned, here's what you'll likely get: The first, "Study." She might give you a list of resources to help, and of course she'll be delighted that you are interested in it (this might help you out if you mention it early on).

The second question: "That's up to you and what you are comfortable with." I don't think a math teacher will have short-hand techniques on hand, but that's something you can easily research online. It's all about practice in that regard.

The third question, of course I can't answer, perhaps you can ask her to guide you instead. You can ask her about how she got started in math and what obstacles she had to overcome to get where she is today. I would keep going to her office to get the different parts of the story, perhaps. Strike up a relationship with her, and she will be invaluable to you if you continue to pursue math. Just take the time to listen to her and remember what she told you on subsequent visits.

pray75 : I agree.  These are interview questions that aren't so much with the class and do not require major interaction between you two.  I would email them to her and ask about a response at class the next few days.  Allow her time to formulate her answers and respond.  But they don't require you to walk in her office.  I think trying that is a waste of your and her time as well as a bit confusing.

What's the objective of those particular questions?  The first makes sense but you should bring it to more concrete points, like "What do I need to do to become better?  Who would I talk to about getting homework help or tutoring?"  Those things she can refer you to someone who can spend the time to help you become better.

THose are my thoughts.

From those questions, some of them sound pretty obvious or they sound like interview questions which I agree with pray75 and warmaker.

If you wish to ask questions with your professor a little about her life, I would suggest that you try to get a sense on how your professor is. Watch how your professor communicates and teaches the class. Is she someone that can help to guide you to your future and offer some of her wisdom to you no matter what? Also, if you are planning to have more years of school after undergraduate, she can help you with recommendations if she is a good professor and person in general.
I've had some professors who love to get along with their students and talk about their experience outside of school with their other jobs and graduate school. It can be worth getting advice from a professor to an extent.

Oh alright guys!
Thanks for the feedback
but then what SHOULD I ask her during the visit then?
I'm doing this first because I wanna get to know her more as a professor
and second because I have an evaluation sheet to fill out because I'm on probation
