Wha..What?! NO! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME,SEASON 2 IS CANCELED?!

So it appears that due to some..Well rather unknown issues,Tokyo Ghoul season 2 has been shut off.Plug pulled right out of the wall.The second season of the popular manga adaptation was listed to air in early January 2015,but i suppose that dream has now turned into a bloody nightmare.

Why this has happened could be anyone's guess really.But it all amounts to the same thing,sadness...*Sigh*

This is worse then the time i heard that Ed Edd n Eddy was canceled.Guess i'll go cry in a corner now,but before i do why don't you guys tell me what you think about this?

See yah later..*Sobs while hugging pet cat and dog.*Well on the bright side..At least the Manga ended,so i know what happens in the end.


I'm sorry anime adaptation! COME ON I WAS KIDDING,YOUR NOT THAT BAD COMPARED TO THE MANGA!!!

Well, my life is ruined. Not like I've been really anticipating season two for Tokyo Ghoul for the past 2 weeks. Shove that aside for now, that is really disappointing news. Now I won't be able to curl up on the floor under seven blankets watching anime, instead I'll have to spend my time under three blankets while laying on my bed reading the manga on my tablet. *Sigh* Who knows is right... Maybe they've just hit some sort of road block somewhere along the lines, and they'll air it later in the year.

I actually just recently watched all of Tokyo Ghoul and honestly, it was mediocre at best. They had a lot of potential and whether you watch the censored or uncensored one does play a decently big part. Even uncensored I was pretty unhappy with it. I haven't been enjoying any of the horror genre that's been coming out lately actually. They all just seem so weakly produced and heavily watered down. I did finish the series though so it's not entirely bad, it kept my interest but overall I was displeased with it. 
A second season would be nice if only for the fact that they left so many things unanswered. Although, a simple OVA would be able to answer these, and it's not even that there's a lot, it's just the stuff that they didn't answer pertains so heavily to what was going on. Like I said, an OVA would be nice but I don't think I'd trouble myself with a second season of the series.
If anything, just read the manga of it, it'll show you more anyway.

styrofoamboots : Yeah,i was displeased with it to,alot.Especially because i was a fan of the manga,LONG before the anime adaptation was even announced.Its a terrible feeling,knowing that the thing you are a fan of,is finally making it to the masses,and the first impression of the masses is..Mediocre.

And if you're a fan of horror in general,it must be even more annoying dealing with censorship.The sad thing is,the show does (Or at least would have) gotten ALOT better,after episode 12.Kaneki gets much more aggressive,and less more remorseful.

But hey,you can always dream.

relinquish022 : I can believe it, after all that happened I would think things wouldn't be the same for him mentally in the least. But yeah, I think my biggest disappointment lately with the new horror releases was Pupa. I anticipated it so much after reading the manga only to be let down so hard. Ah well, there are better things to watch anyway. At least I was able to see these things get fleshed out even more than they were.

Whoever is reading probably found out already but this wasn't cancelled, lol. But yeah this is kind of a misconception. The anime really was mediocre though coming from an anime-only viewer. The pacing IMO was so...mediocre. None of the characters were particularly engaging, except for Kaneki but I'm a sucker for bishie white haired folks.

The mangaka (author) was apparently really disappointed with how they handled it because I remember reading a news statement that said he would make an anime-original story of his own because you know, no one can trust Studio Pierrot.
