UGH.

I've been kicking, punching and swearing at a wall for about ten minutes now.

My school, as good as its education is, still has a VERY mediocre, unprofessional feel about it.

And it's the little things like this that absolutely tick me off. My first day was today, and I already got a ton of books. I got a lock and key with me, of course, so I put them in the locker. But, the locker door was jammed, and the lock's hook wouldn't fit in. I told the supervisor, and he just went "get a lock with a thinner hook".

What?

WHAT?

First of all, it isn't my problem WHATSOEVER that the school's property is damaged. Second, I shouldn't have to pay extra money for a new lock due to the school's locker being messed up. They owe ME a new locker. I shouldn't have to buy a different kind of lock that would fit in their screwy one. That's their problem!

The supervisor felt sorry for me, so he decided to let me keep the books in the locker so I wouldn't break my back going home (and I was about to miss the bus). However, he told me that I would have to get a lock tomorrow or I would have to carry the books.

I simply do not have the time; the shops are closed, and it's supper time, already! I
hate this. I should have a talk with them, I guess, but would they listen? After all, I'm not the boss.

Anyhow, I'll return to swearing at that wall now.

...

In other news, NintendoFanKimmy's drama teacher in Grade 8 is the Lord Of All Fabulousness In The Universe, Ghirahim In Real Life! Or Loafitu Girl (he's a guy, though~) for short. And Kimmy and Green will be up in the mountains dealing with terrorists eating yummy food with their grandmother tomorrow!

Seems like you had a pretty full day. That thing with the lock stinks, maybe you'll find a store on your way to your grandma's mountain base? At least the Supreme Lord of all Fabulousness will make things at your school seem a little bit better though. xP

I have been back at school for a month now and you complain at the first day lol. Your school sounds worse than mine. All of our lockers look the same as they were when I first started at high school. KimmyxWall sounds good. Better than being buddies with Hitler. 3 week till October break!

greenluigi : Yes, I'm quite sure.~

Mom just told me she got off the phone with her, and everything's settled ! We're only staying one night, though, but I think it's enough.~

The very beginning of this thread made me jump! I've had many experiences at my school pertaining to people saying that things aren't their problem. For example, this one that I said part of earlier today. My 8th grade science teacher kept yelling at my class for not completing our work, when it really wasn't entirely our fault! She went too fast, even for me!, with everything except lecturing us, which she dragged out for as long as possible. At the end of the year, I gave up and quit working. I probably got a D or an F in that class, but I didn't care at all. The teacher didn't care about our grades either. She said she doesn't care because they aren't her grades. That's the most wrong thing I've ever heard a teacher say. Teachers are supposed to always care about their students' grades and they can get in trouble if a lot of their students have low grades!

Edit: It's almost always the parents that settle conflicts with school, because the school usually  doesn't care if the students try to settle it.
