FaithFighter here...I was wondering about something. On every RGR game, there is a spot that says "Normal users can edit game content and earn Viz + Cp." What exactly does this mean I can do? Do I need to know how to make a game in order to edit content? Or do you give a description and let the web bosses do something with that? Because I just filled out a form for a Mario 64 Hack that I thought would be pretty cool, listing a story synopsis and description ( except for worlds, which I wish I had.) I hit the submit button...Like I thought I was supposed to. Now, the part about editing game content is whited out and I cannot click onto it. Also, my trust points went down to -3. Did I do something wrong? I am rather confused about this whole thing.

Ok, the whited out areas and the stuff you can't click on is because you are a normal member. You would need to either PM tRIUNE or PM one of the site staff members. Elites can edit any content, but the staff on the site need to check with the game info to confirm if it is real additions to the page. The reason why you probably lost trust points is probably because either some people didn't really trust you, or there could've been a glitch. The former is very likely, but the latter is very unlikely to happen. So in brief, send tRIUNE or the site staff a PM.

For your question on making a game and being able to edit the content, it's for editing the game info on the page to the actual game you wanted to add page content for. The info is shown below the "PLAY GAME" option(s) and you will see the changed info if you remember what you wanted to change and if it isn't false added info. So I hope that could somewhat help out.

Users with negative trust points can't edit/add game content. When your trust points is at least 0.0 or higher, then you'll be able to edit game content.

I was once downrated the same way a long time ago and I had no idea why I was downrated. I guess it's because the staff thought you did something wrong. Just stick around the site, show that you're a good member, and eventually it'll go back up and be patient. Good luck!

Just so we're clear, you're talking about the green link that says "Edit Page (earn cp & viz)" on the game pages, right?

1. You don't need to learn how to make a game to edit content. In fact, any content you submit is just a request. I believe only tRIUNE is the one who decides if game content requests are accepted or not. (Davideo7 can also, but he's busy doing other things for the site.)

2. You can give a description for a game, if you want. However, if the game is a hack or you wish to give a description in your own words, be sure to type it in the "Description" box and not the one that says "Box Description." The second one is for official description of the game found on the back of its box. It's recommended to use good grammar and formatting for it, because I don't think tRIUNE edits it to fix that kind of stuff. Aside from that, you can also edit or add in other information, such as: year the game was released, publisher of the game, developer, etc.

3. I'm not sure about the part where the game content editing is whited out. Maybe mohammedroxx3 is right about users who have below 0 trust points can't edit game content? Also, the page that shows game content requests don't display content for users who are below 0 in trust points.

4. As of the new trust point system that was implemented last year, staff can only downrate users. So if you are in the negatives, then you probably got downrated by one or more of the staff for doing something illegal or abusive on the site.

Well...Thank you all for the replies; but I still do not know that I did anything wrong or illegal or abusive. I wish I knew what I did to make that happen.
