"Space Marine. War Hammer 40K."
It's a good game. So, why do I feel like I'm touring in a museum?

(It was not fun painting those silly miniatures back in those days.)
So, after all kinds of years pass?
"War Hammer 40K" finally makes it to the console games.
The first couple of levels are everything I imagined they would be. (So far.)
It's a good Play.
I'm fighting Hordes or Orks, Gigantic Boss Battles, Space Ships to shoot down.
Characters are Ripping Mounted Heavy Guns off their mounts in frustration and desperate Peril.
Chainsaws are as common as dinner knives in this world.

So,,,,,
Why does it feel like I'm touring a Museum?

For people unfamiliar with the "War Hammer" universe, the visuals alone should be stunning.
Couple that with the awesome Musical score, the right cast, Wonderful Cinematics.
It should be Epic.
But for some reason I find.....
It's kind of tame.
Is it due to actually building a few battlefields and space cruisers and other sets for the silly miniature games in the past?
Did my expectation level for a pixelated version unusually go off the charts?
Could it be that after reading a few of those telephone book size Rules, and Lore manuals, seeing a product that no longer requires my imagination appears to be tame?
I am kind of puzzled by this.
(I could be getting to old for games. I am at an age where allot of things just seem silly.)
Any thoughts or Opinions would be welcome. (Please keep it clean folks.)

Maybe I have not come to the really interesting parts yet.
I'll finish it eventually.

Good Luck To All.
Peace.
