I don't mean overall. I  mean what is the amount of Viz you can get from a single post and how much you can get in a day.  Is there a limit, and does it increase if your rank is higher? Can anyone please answer me because I'm confused.

This is going to be a very long answer if I try to explain everything, so I'll try to make it short and to the point.

The limit to gain Viz from posts set for normal members (which is what you currently are) is 50. This limit does increase when you are a higher user rank. See the CP page for more information.

As for the maximum Viz you can get in a single post, it highly depends on how many words is in that post and what forum you post in. I'm going to use your current user rank position to explain this portion.

Since you are a normal member, your base Viz will be 10. If you make a post than is less than 5 words, you will lose Viz. If you make a post that is more than 5 words, you will gain Viz. If you make a post that is only 5 words, then you will only gain the 10 Viz. See the Post Size section on the Viz Per Post">Viz Per Post for more information.

According to the above link, your base will be multiplied by 3 if you make a single post that has 500 words or more.

10 x 3 = 30 Viz on a regular forum.

You can gain more or less Viz if you post on specific forums. For example, the 'Games Reviews' forum will multiply your total by 3 if your post was made there. The Help Center says the Viz will be multiplied by 5, but the Games Review rules says 3. I am unsure which one is correct, so I need confirmation on this.

30 x 3(or 5) = 90(or 150) Viz for a 500+ word post in the 'Games Reviews' forum.

However, you might lose Viz if you post in a spam forum. For example, the Crazy House has a multiplier of 0.25.

30 x 0.25 = 7.5 Viz for a 500+ word post in the 'Crazy House' forum.

There is another factor that can help increase the Viz payout for posts. That's the CP multiplier. Currently, you don't have one because you only have 33 CP right now. But if you had 100 CP, then your Viz per post will be multiplied by 1.25. If you had 1,000 CP, then your Viz per post will be multiplied by 1.5. You can find out more about this under the 'Contribution Actions' portion of the CP page in the first link.

I think that should cover the basics.

Or you can check the bottom of any section and you'll see Forums Statistics it will tell you how much Viz you make with post/thread. The same rules apply what mistress said about gaining and losing Viz.

scarlot : You might also want to know the difference between the posts and threads. You lose Viz for making threads, the amount varying based on the length, though you will gain Viz for every reply.
For replies to your threads, you can get credit for up to 25 per day and the amount of Viz will be based on the length of that users post, at the same rate Mistress used.

Overall, if you only reply, you will make a certain amount of Viz once you hit the limit, but if you make the same amount of posts, with some of them being threads, it's possible to earn much more Viz once you hit the limits.

OK. Thank you. I think I understand now. It will be useful I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't losing Viz since I am trying to get the PSX item and it is turning out to be harder than I expected to get that much Viz. Again, thanks.

Also,  if it wouldn't be too much, can you tell me a quick way to get enough CP for the multipliers and what can I do to raise my rank. Thanks in advance.
