This month's High Score competition is for 'Pac-Mania' for the Sega Genesis. You can play it here:

The point of this competition is to get as high of a score as you can. Every year in September I have a high score competition for a different Pac-Man game which makes this the 5th year of doing this.


VIDEO REQUIRED: You must post a video of yourself accomplishing the score you submit. You must use the RGR Plugin's built in video recording capabilities.

RULES: You MUST play the game using the RGR Plugin in 'Timetrial Mode' and take a screenshot of your top score from that by pressing F6. To play in 'Timetrial Mode', scroll down the page where the highscores would appear, you'll see a link that says 'Click Here to Compete for Highscore', click that. Once you've taken your screenshot, click the link near that one that says 'Click Here to Submit your Score' to submit your score.

You cannot unfairly get points or lives or use a glitch of any sort. If you find something that gives out unlimited points or lives, it will not count.


Prizes:
1st = 10,000 Viz
2nd = 2,500 Viz
3rd = 1,000 Viz

Would it be allowed to use any of the options given in the game? e.g., Pac-Booster setting

I'd like to see Pac-Booster allowed. Especially in a game that will unlikely be maxed out (in this version the score actually goes into the millions!). That extra speed can get you into a lot of trouble later in the game making for some crazy gameplay.
