every once in a while i'll wake up at like 3-4 am and start my morning routine and about 5 minutes later i realize the time is rediculessly early what is this its happened quite a few times this month

kirbmanboggle - When you wake up, your brain automatically thinks it's not very early in the morning. That is indeed weird.

I have a similar problem, but it's rare. Once in a great while, I'll wake up on Saturday morning and think it's Sunday, and a few minutes later I'll realize it isn't and I'll be so relieved.

i've been in the same boat as you. 

1: went to bed and fell asleep at 1am
2: woke up at 6am
3: only got 5 hours of sleep and never felt tired ONCE!

im not sure how it does happen, i believe it happens via metalbilism, but nevertheless it's quite useful for catching certain cartoons
