According to "YongYea" a Metal Gear 1 Remake was recently cancelled.
One of the names that were dropped included "David Hayter", and more.
A remake seemed like a good idea to me.
Wish Konami would have let the thing get finished before killing it. (Would have made a good Extra Feature on the next instalment for the Solid series if the sales predictions for a remake were less than "Astronomical".)
